Greetings,
Beautiful beings.
Welcome to today's session.
Creating calm amidst uncertainty.
There is so much unknown in the world today.
And yet there has always been unknown.
The past has already happened.
And we do not have a crystal ball into the future.
So it is this precious present moment that we are gifted at all times.
And yet that can seem confusing.
How do we live and yet plan ahead?
How do we learn from the past and yet stay in the present?
One of those ways is to move beyond the stories we may hear in the news.
The unknown of what is fact or fiction and reconnect to our inner guidance.
Peeling back the layers of all that we have built.
The walls of protection.
Or at least it seems so.
The layers of knowledge that may or may not be true.
Can we get back to a beginner's mind?
Not ruminating on the past or fretting about the future.
Being here now and going even deeper into our most authentic self.
And the pain to tap in to those feelings in our body.
Those little tingles we might feel.
That nudge to turn around and look at something.
Our body is constantly communicating with us.
It's a matter of whether we choose to put our attention there or not.
So today for these few minutes let's begin to unpeel the layers.
Just a little bit.
Glimpsing even more of our magnificence.
And in that we may become a little more comfortable with uncertainty.
We may lean into it with more intuition.
We may see opportunity and connection in place of confusion and chaos.
Let's take a nice long slow deep breath in together.
And exhale gently.
Let's do that one more time.
Nice long slow inhale.
And exhaling.
Realizing that whenever we take these conscious pauses as you have done to be here right now.
Listening,
Participating,
Honor that moment.
The to do list may be growing in the background.
And yet this time to be centered,
To gain more clarity will allow you to walk through the rest of your day with more grace and more ease.
Our mantra for today is what is the gift in this moment for me?
The idea in this is that things are happening for us,
Not to us.
Where can we find the gift?
What is the gift in this moment for me?
Gently close your eyes if that feels good.
Making sure you're in a comfortable space.
Take a few moments to begin repeating this mantra.
It may get faster or slower,
Louder or softer as you silently repeat it in your mind,
In your body.
It may reverberate throughout you.
Notice what you notice and simply be in the flow,
Continuing to repeat.
What is the gift in this moment for me?
Repeating the mantra and I'll ring a chime when we wrap up.
What is the gift in this moment for me?
The gift in this moment for me.
The gift in this moment for me.
The gift in this moment for me.
The gift in this moment for me.
What is the gift in this moment for me?
Feel free to stop repeating the mantra.
Gently bringing your awareness back into the room.
Stretching,
Opening your eyes if that feels good or keeping the lids of your eyes closed for another few moments to just let this experience soak in.
And taking with you any sparks of inspiration that may have come your way or an openness to a blank slate,
Knowing that there is a gift in every moment.
Sometimes it may be challenging to see and that's when we can go within to reconnect,
To peel away a few more layers and create clarity from uncertainty.
May you have a wondrous day exploring the gift in each moment.
Namaste.
