Your heart knows love beyond the concepts of the mind. It is alive, intimate with all. But sometimes our heart feels closed up, contracted because something happened. How do we open to the joys and pains equally? How do we tend to the resistance, the barriers, skillfully? With this gentle, yet deep meditation, you are invited to soften into your heart jewel and offer a present, kind approach to melt the walls. And by that, you are falling ever more in love, with yourself and life as it is.

A heart wide open meditation.

A time for you and your own heart.

Allow your beautiful eyes to close and feel into your body,

All the way down into your feet.

Are they warm?

Are they cold?

And where is your breath?

In the chest?

Or in the belly?

There's no right or wrong in this moment.

There's only that what is.

This is always our beginning.

Allow yourself to be fascinated by what's here,

That's alive inside of you.

Any sensations that you can sense.

Any feelings that are here today,

In this moment.

Sad or joy,

Or pain,

Or fear.

Whatever is here,

What we are doing is to say hello with our breath,

With our kind attentiveness.

Right now,

Don't change anything.

Just be here with what is alive.

Yes,

Let those thoughts flow by,

Clinging onto none.

Just let them flow.

You're far,

Far more than this stream of endless thoughts.

And touching with your awareness,

Like as if it is the wind carousing your face.

Letting the breath fill your face,

Your eyes,

Your mouth,

Your nose and cheeks.

Softening the tension that we so often carry in the jaw.

Let it hang a little bit.

You're not here to achieve anything in this meditation,

But rather to allow yourself to nudge closer to your own beautiful heart.

We often bury,

Dismiss,

Run from,

Or shut down to.

So it's not you needing to open your heart.

It's allowing the barriers to melt towards our own heart.

So often the mind shuts down the access way to our heart.

Yet for this moment,

We seat the mind in the back seat and allowing the heart to seat in the front seat of the vehicle we drive through in this world.

There is that knowing inside of you that your heart knows the way.

Your heart knows love beyond the concepts,

Beyond the shoulds and should nots.

Your heart knows for it is love.

Yet so often we feel disconnected.

And so in this moment,

We come a bit closer by bringing your attention to what's,

How does it feel around your heart,

In your chest?

Numb,

Warm,

Cold,

Joyful,

Painful,

Contracted,

Ease?

Whatever is there is okay.

It really is.

Just like we touch the face with our breath as if it's the wind loving you.

So like that,

Touch that space around our heart.

Whatever you experience there with a touch of presence,

With the breath touching that numbness or that warmth or that contraction,

Touching it with kindness,

Saying hello to our beautiful heart that's waiting for you,

That's calling for you,

Calling you home,

Inviting you.

Come closer,

Come nearer,

Just like a lover welcoming the beloved,

Not telling the beloved to be different,

But welcoming as you are.

That's how your heart receives you,

Beneath the layers of conditioning,

Beneath the layers of unresolved pains and sorrows.

Your heart is whole and loves you even through all of this stuff.

Feel what you're feeling right now,

Because that is a gateway into the heart,

Your direct experience of what is here,

Which we usually try to escape.

Stay here,

Trust the call,

Don't get lost in all the mirages the mind starts to play.

Refrain from making any feeling wrong.

All feelings are doorways to home,

Are doorways to the great unbounded heart.

Begin to taste the sense,

Regardless what you have done or not done,

Your heart welcomes you.

Just breathe that.

What is it that you are most afraid of experiencing,

Or where you have shut your heart to?

It might be pain.

What if you drench that fear with your breath?

What if you let your heart touch that shut down wall?

What happens if you give that invitation and meet what you've been avoiding or closing up to?

What if you allow your heart to reach and touch that maybe aching place?

And what if you are truly embraced with even that,

What you find unbearable?

What if the great heart embraces you with that?

That great heart that beats in all beings,

That lives in you,

What happens?

And what you experience now,

When you allow your true nature touch what you have tried to hold in vain at bay.

How are your feet and your legs?

How is the space in your chest right now,

What you experience?

For you see,

Love wants to bring all home and leaves nothing out,

Not even you.

And so we also turn in this moment towards the world,

For a heart wide open can touch this world.

The dark and the beauty,

The messy and the pretty,

With nothing but love.

May all beings benefit from our practice and from your beautiful heart.

Thank you.
