This present meditation Greetings wherever you are.

This yoga nidra is focused on the meditation of the Medicine Buddha.

The mantra,

Tayata Om Bheganse Bheganse Maha Bheganse Raja Samagat Soa is repeated 108 times.

Use this meditation for healing for yourself and for healing for others.

May all beings be free from mental and emotional suffering.

To begin,

Make sure that you are lying in Shavasana pose,

Flat on the floor or on your bed as comfortably as possible.

Check your body quickly for any tensions that you may feel at your shoulder,

At your neck,

Along your back,

Your hips,

Your legs and your feet.

As the body becomes more and more familiar with this posture,

It will go into relaxation more readily.

We remember the benefits of yoga nidra.

We remember the peace it gives us.

We remember the clarity that we achieve in the silence that we have.

Close your eyes,

Begin to withdraw from the outside world.

Let your eyes feel heavy and sink further into their sockets.

Listen to the sounds of your environment.

Know that you're safe.

Know that you're secure for the duration of this practice.

Begin to withdraw from the sounds of your environment.

Try,

If you can,

To listen to the sounds of your heartbeat.

Become aware of the heartbeat slowly decreasing to a point of equilibrium.

No stress and natural ease.

Turn your attention to the breath.

Be aware of the natural rhythm of the moment.

Try not to affect the breath through conscious change.

It will,

As you relax,

Find its own natural rhythm.

As this meditation is a focus on the Medicine Buddha Mantra,

Bring to mind the healing that you wish to experience for yourself or for another person.

If it's for yourself,

You may say in this Sanghava,

I am healed of my anxiety or I am healed of my depression or I am healed from my loneliness.

When you think of someone else for this healing,

Think of them and say their name as you say the Sanghava suitable for them.

Bring your attention to your heart chakra,

Your center of compassion,

Your center for loving kindness,

Your center of being.

Imagine there a warm golden light.

Glowing with warmth,

Glowing with healing energy,

Glowing with love and compassion.

As you listen to the Medicine Buddha Mantra in the background,

Begin with your mind's eye to make this glowing heart light stronger.

The more thought you direct towards this point,

The stronger the image will become,

The stronger the warmth will feel at your heart center.

Begin to expand this light,

This warmth gradually out from your heart to your chest area and down to your navel.

Feel the warmth gradually spreading throughout your entire torso.

As you breathe in,

Add more energy,

Add more power,

Add more warmth.

Let the warmth flow down to your arms,

Your elbows,

Your hands.

Feel your hands become warm and alive.

Feel the warmth radiate down through both your legs to your feet and the soles of your feet.

Feel the soles of your feet becoming warm.

Expand the light up to the top of your head.

Feel your entire body encompassed by this warm healing light,

Full of compassion,

Full of healing,

Full of love.

Visualize your whole body wrapped in this healing light.

Pushing away all negativity,

All anxiety,

All anguish,

All depression.

Healing that which needs to be healed.

Feeling light circling your entire body.

Imagine too that all beings gain benefit from this meditation.

All beings everywhere.

Expand your light beyond the furthest possibilities of your imagination so that in truth,

You can be healed.

Everything,

Everywhere is encompassed by this healing light.

Draw your attention now.

To your mind's eye.

Visualize before you,

If you can,

The medicine Buddha figure.

He is seated on a blue and white lotus.

His blue body is robed in a gold.

He is comfortably seated in a full lotus position.

In his left hand,

He holds his medicine bowl.

And in his right hand,

He holds the healing plants.

His gaze is loving and kind.

Direct and open.

He is full of compassion,

Full of grace,

Full of love.

Imagine this figure in front of you as clearly as you can.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Now,

In your mind's eye,

Maintain the figure of the medicine Buddha.

Mentally raise this image so that it is above the crown of your own head,

Facing the way you love it.

Imagine now the full body of the medicine Buddha,

Turning into light,

Descending into your being through your crown chakra.

Feel the energy of the crown be activated as the energy of the Buddha flows into your being.

Maha bhegansi rajasam.

His eyes become your eyes.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

His lips become your lips.

His throat becomes your throat.

His shoulders become your shoulders.

His arms become your arms.

His torso becomes your torso.

His hips become your hips.

His legs become your legs.

Feel his being completely in your arms.

Feel the healing that he brings.

Feel his compassion in nature.

Feel his love.

Feel his grace.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

The breath that you take in.

Dha yad dhat hum bhegansi bhegansi,

Maha bhegansi rajasam katyasura.

Slowly open your eyes.

And welcome the light of this present moment.

Be grateful for what you have received.

This is the end of Yoganidra.

Ariyam tat sat.

Be the witness of the mind.

Be the witness of the mind.

Be the witness of the mind.

Be the witness of the mind.

Be the witness of the mind.

Wow.. this made me so relaxed. I could feel my nervous system calming down (it’s on overdrive 24/7 because of ME/CFS). Thank you SO much!!! One thing I’d hoped was an explanation for the mantra! Like, what it means etc. In the audio or in the description. But I somewhat got an answer from google. Thank you again for this, I’ll definitely come back to this. So thankful

Healing and profound. Medicine Buddha was my first Buddhist practice and I’m so grateful to have found it used with a yoga nidra in this way.

Beautiful meditation and mantra. Very healing. I might suggest you speak a bit louder. At times music overtook your voice. All in all, background mantra very powerful. Will do again and again! Thank you.
