Comfort and love your inner child.

Deep sleep,

Meditation,

Heal and reassure your inner child.

While you sleep,

Welcome.

I'm Nikki Sutton.

Please refrain from listening,

While driving,

Or doing anything else.

Make sure you'll be undisturbed.

And lay down in a really comfortable position.

In helping our inner child to feel loved and cared for,

We can feel more emotionally whole and complete.

Today,

Our inner child is part of us.

We hold their memories and experiences,

Even if we can't always remember them.

And we still retain many of the attitudes and beliefs that our younger self picked up.

These can sometimes be unhelpful thoughts,

Feelings and beliefs about ourselves that we don't ever question.

But we can question them and instead turn them into loving helpful thoughts.

Let's welcome your inner child into your awareness for inclusion and integration into the totality of you with love and compassion.

And for great healing to live in your heart.

Always just begin to relax now,

Arriving here for a really good night's sleep and deep rest.

If my voice begins to grow distant,

And you start to fall asleep at any time during this inner child healing journey,

That's perfectly okay,

Of course,

Your subconscious mind is always listening.

Even during sleep,

The process is still happening.

Just allow yourself to drift away without trying to sleep or trying not to sleep.

Sleep just arrives when we're very relaxed and not minding about anything.

So I'd like you to find the most comfortable,

Supportive position in your bed.

If you need to adjust your body,

Please go ahead.

Take it easy,

Resisting nothing,

Accepting how you feel and being understanding and compassionate towards yourself.

Just find your most settled position and really arrive here fully present,

Lovely.

And in a moment,

I'll ask you to take three deep breaths for me.

Deep into your belly,

Which is the most calming way for your mind with the intention of just letting everything go.

Like three big sighs of relief,

Each one leading you deeper into a wonderful sense of relaxation and well-being.

Here we go.

Take a big,

Deep breath for me and exhale nice and long,

Letting everything go and another nice satisfying inhale and breathe out,

Blowing everything you just don't need away.

Take a deep breath into your belly and exhale.

What a relief,

Relaxing even more.

That's wonderful.

Just imagine that your warm bed is your sanctuary right now.

Here you can leave the day and everything your day entails behind for a while and find sacred space here in your warm,

Cozy bed.

Holding you so supportively,

You can allow your muscles to begin to release because you are fully supported.

If you could move your focus slowly down your body from the top of your head down to the tips of your toes,

Where might you find areas of tension,

Locating any tight or clenched muscles,

Like perhaps at the back of your neck and around your shoulders.

Try releasing those.

Go ahead,

Allowing them to sink down,

Down or look for any muscles holding a part of you in a particular position,

Like your hands in a tense position.

For example,

Seek out any tightness and just release it,

Fully melting into total relaxation.

Or perhaps there are muscles that are squeezing,

Like a clenched jaw or squeezed muscles around your eyes.

Just allow them to soften.

Scan yourself all over and allow every muscle to go floppy and loose as you melt into complete surrender to sleep.

Your sense of well-being increasing,

Drifting slowly towards the warm and comforting feeling that sleep gives you.

Sleep is easy for you when you settle down for rest and you're taking very positive energy into your dreams tonight.

So without much effort,

Rather a gentle knowing,

Just imagine if you will,

Your childhood self here with you in your mind's eye,

Here with you now,

At whatever age they seem to be.

They might be quite young or a little older,

Perhaps at an age when you needed comfort,

Reassurance,

Love and compassion.

Remaining so calm and relaxed in this moment,

Still on your pleasant journey towards sleep and in your mind,

Give your younger self the reassurance that would help them to feel calm,

Appreciated,

Wanted and loved.

Let them know that you're taking care of them now.

Maybe help them to understand that they're safe,

Protected and understood and embrace your younger self.

Give them a hug and after a few moments,

Sense that they're becoming one with your heart.

They are you after all,

Safely there,

Living in your heart.

Always.

You can talk to,

Comfort and care for them at any time.

I'm going to count you down to calm your mind even further now.

Here we go,

Moving towards sleep,

In a state of peaceful rest now.

Nine,

Open to welcoming your childhood self into your loving awareness.

Eight,

Drifting deeper and deeper into serene comfort.

Seven,

Ready to be fully refreshed tomorrow.

Six,

At your own pace,

Gently gaining understanding and forgiveness,

If needed,

For the events of younger years.

Five,

Drift away,

Just drift away to sleep.

Four,

Three,

So deeply relaxed.

Two and one.

I give my inner child the love they've always deserved.

I promote my well-being today by healing anything that requires it from the past.

In comforting and reassuring my inner child,

I am caring for an aspect of myself.

I am worthy of quality self-care.

The potential I had as a kid,

I still have that now.

I allow myself to return to the attitude of playful excitement of a child.

I listen to my emotions,

Especially when they're messages from younger aspects of myself,

Needing a little love and comfort.

If my inner child needed more love in younger years,

I express that love to them now.

I take time to nourish and nurture myself holistically.

I wish healing for anyone in my past who should have known better.

I allow myself to forgive.

I ask that my inner child trust me and allows me to guide and care for them every day.

In healing my inner child,

I am healing my thoughts,

Feelings,

And emotions now.

I have self-love and I accept all aspects of myself.

I release any experiences from the past that it's time for me to let go and move forward,

Rising above all of it in my infinite potential.

If my creativity needed nurturing during my childhood years,

It's being nurtured by me now.

I make time to care for myself as well as others because my needs are important too.

I welcome my inner child into my heart to be with me,

Comfy,

Cozy,

And cared for always.

I love my inner child.

I am so glad to be able to bring my early childhood excitement and fascination into my life today.

Seeing the world with renewed wonder and potential,

I forgive those who know not what they do,

Who need inner work and healing themselves.

I rise above their actions and bring myself to a place of emotional safety and security now.

Now it's perfectly okay for me to seek help with life's challenges.

I need my inner child to know that everything will be okay,

More than okay,

Great in fact.

I forgive my younger self for any regret that I may have from younger years and understand that younger people need plenty of chances to get things right.

I am proud of my childhood self for doing so well.

I know they did the best that they could do given the circumstances and events.

The younger me deserve to be treated with respect and feel included,

Wanted,

Cherished,

And treasured.

I deserve to feel this way.

I sit with any experiences from my childhood that need healing.

I see the memories through the lens of maturity and years of experience to gain fresh perceptions and in turn help my younger self to understand and reconcile those memories.

I thank my inner child for their experiences contribute to who I am now.

This part of me went through certain things,

Learning and experiencing,

To help me to become even wiser.

I offer to care for,

Reassure,

And comfort my inner child when I feel them stepping forward from within me.

My inner child can rely on me.

My inner child has me to depend upon,

Although we are one person.

It's very okay to speak to someone about my thoughts and feelings if I need to.

If any memories arise from my childhood years that require healing,

I pledge to provide those memories and my inner child with my conscious and attentive love and healing.

I am more than enough and always have been.

I help my younger self to understand and forgive events or people from the past so that I can move on and feel emotionally free,

Whole,

And complete today.

I accept all aspects of my younger self.

I am open to realizations and revelations that will help me to understand and process any events from the past that could do with my conscious healing.

I forgive my younger self unconditionally,

Especially as kids sometimes make mistakes as part of learning and growing.

Any mistakes of the past are long forgiven because I was learning and improving.

My inner child is like a beautiful ray of sunshine and hope within me.

I can parent my inner child so that they feel safe and secure always.

I am very worthy of love.

I treasure my inner child.

My opinions are valid and well worth listening to.

If I sense a younger aspect of my psyche stepping forward in times of turmoil,

I reassure that part of myself that I've got this.

I can do this and allow them to step back.

The me of today is taking the wheel.

I am safe and protected now.

I can convey this to my inner child.

I am a strong and confident person,

The carer and protector of my wonderful inner child.

Any feelings and emotions that arise from my childhood years are valid and understandable and I show care and compassion with my inner child,

Helping them to process and work through those feelings.

That's the totality of me,

Working them through.

I recognize all the marvelous talents I had as a child.

I bring forth these gifts into the here and now.

I want my inner child to know that they do matter.

They are significant.

When I seek inspiration or something to give me joy,

I allow my childhood imagination,

Creativity,

And sense and sense of fun to come through to me now.

My inner child can truly be happy.

My younger self is free within me.

They live in my peaceful,

Loving,

And supportive inner world.

My inner child and me are the same person,

Yet I am older and wiser and can guide my younger self on how to be confident,

Happy,

And free.

In turn,

I feel more confident,

Happy,

And free.

I comfort my inner child through any unpleasant memories and help them to know that they are safe and well now,

Transcending and releasing events of the past.

I allow my inner child to be my passenger on life's journey because I am in the driving seat.

I'll carry them safely with me every day.

When I speak about my childhood experiences,

I also speak about my thoughts and feelings back then so that my inner child has a chance to bring forth anything that requires conscious reassurance and healing.

I encourage my younger self to make their dreams a reality.

I often remember my inner child and make sure they're doing really well.

I accept and embrace who I am,

Who I was,

And who I am.

My younger self is in a peaceful,

Loving place within me now.

I am always one with my younger self and accept them as part of me.

I thank my childhood self for everything.

I can act like a kid if I feel like it.

I release the need for others' approval.

I approve of myself.

I'm here,

Present,

And attentive for my inner child.

I am giving my inner child a special gift of anything they wish for right now.

I listen when thoughts and feelings come up that seem to be from younger years,

And I counsel myself through anything that needs loving care.

I release any discouragement or unhelpful comments received from others in younger years,

Taking into account only the opinions of those whom I admire and respect.

I remember the happy times from my childhood and allow my inner child to enjoy those precious moments.

My younger self lives in a happy,

Loving home in my heart.

I am providing everything my inner child needs within my inner world.

I'm more than meet their needs.

I provide anything for my inner child now that they needed in younger years.

As my childhood self heals,

I heal.

I release any emotions from younger years that are not serving me and move forward in my life in my personal power and peace.

I set boundaries with anyone in my life that I need to so that I,

Including my inner child,

Feel comfortable and secure.

I'm excited about the future,

And my inner child is with me for the ride,

For the ride,

Safe in my heart and always cared for.

Now that I'm grown up,

I can confidently choose who to have in my life and the kinds of people I surround myself with.

My inner child is emotionally safe within me.

I am parenting my younger self with love and care.

I am so brave and courageous now,

And I can speak up if I need to.

When I have fun in my life today,

My inner child is with me,

Enjoying it too.

We are one.

I am lovable and deserve to be loved.

If there's anything special I've always wished for since I was a child,

I'm going to make it happen today.

I forgive anyone who may have adversely affected my well-being in younger years.

Choosing not to carry the effects of their actions with me anymore,

I release,

Cast off,

And rise above their behaviors and wish them profound healing.

I am proud of who I am and who I've always been.

I need my inner child to know that everything will be okay,

More than okay,

Great in fact.

I forgive my younger self for any regret that I may have from younger years and understand that younger people need plenty of chances to get things right.

I am proud of my childhood self for doing so well.

I know they did the best that they could do,

Given the circumstances and events.

I thank my inner child because their experiences contribute to who I am now.

This part of me went through certain things,

Learning and experiencing,

To help me to become even wiser.

I offer to care for,

Reassure,

And comfort my inner child when I feel them stepping forward from within me.

My inner child can rely on me.

My inner child can rely on me.

Although we are one person,

I reassure that part of myself that I've got this,

I can do this,

And allow them to step back.

The me of today is taking the wheel.

I am safe and protected now.

I can convey this to my inner child.

I am a strong and confident person,

The carer and protector of my wonderful inner child.

Any feelings and emotions that arise from my childhood years are valid and understandable,

And I show care and compassion with my inner child,

Helping them to process and work through those feelings.

That's the totality of me,

Working them through.

I recognize all the marvelous talents I had as a child,

And I bring forth these gifts into the here and now.

I want my inner child to know that they do matter.

They are significant.

When I seek inspiration or something to give me joy,

I allow my childhood imagination,

Creativity,

And sense of fun to come through to me now.

I more than meet their needs.

I am excited about the future and my inner child is with me for the ride,

Safe in my heart and always cared for.

Now that I am grown up,

I can confidently choose who to have in my life and the kinds of people I surround myself with.

My inner child is emotionally safe within me.

I am parenting my younger self with love and care.

I am so brave and courageous now and I can speak up if I need to.

I release,

Cast off and rise above their behaviors and wish them profound healing.

I am proud of who I am and who I've always been.

Comfy,

Cozy,

And cared for and cared for always.

It's perfectly okay for me to seek help with life's challenges.

I need my inner child to know that everything will be okay,

More than okay,

Great in fact.

I forgive my younger self for any regret that I may have from younger years and understand that younger people need plenty of chances to get things right.

This meditation is so helpful for healing my inner child. I kept falling asleep so decided to listen again in the early morning so I’d hear it all. I’m so grateful for you and the work you do. πŸ™πŸ’•. I intended to give 5 stars but it shows 4 stars. Don’t know how to edit it to show 5. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
