This 'heal your inner child' meditation is designed to comfort, reassure and heal your inner child so that you can feel happier and more peaceful in daily life today. Meet your inner child and tell them you love them. Heal one of their experiences. This meditation involves visiting a memory. Only perform this meditation if you feel strong enough to do so. If you experience any difficulties or begin to feel upset in any way, simply end the meditation by opening your eyes & seek support if needed.

Heal your inner child guided meditation.

Welcome I'm Nikki Sutton.

Please refrain from listening while driving or doing anything else.

Make sure you'll be undisturbed.

Dim the lights and lay or sit in a very comfortable position.

Close your eyes and follow the sound of my voice.

Events happened to many of us during childhood which were scary,

Confusing or overwhelming.

We store these events in our subconscious mind.

The point of view of a child is more impressionable and vulnerable than an adult and more easily overwhelmed due to being new to this reality.

Left unaddressed,

Frightening or difficult events and circumstances from childhood remain as they are within the subconscious mind.

Having been processed by the mind of a child,

We can revisit these events and our younger self in order to reprocess them with our adult mind of today.

Bringing more reason and peacefulness to these memories and we can comfort and reassure our inner child.

All this helps us to feel happier in our lives today.

First I'll relax you down to access the subconscious mind.

Then we will visit your inner child.

This process involves visualization and if visualization is tricky for you to do,

Just sense or know what's going on.

Lastly,

Discontinue this process at any time if it becomes too painful for you to do.

Here we go.

Take a deep breath in now.

And as you breathe out,

Really arrive within your body.

Take another deep breath in.

And as you breathe out,

Release all tension.

And again,

Take a deep breath in.

And as you breathe out,

Feel your body begin to relax.

And breathe normally now.

Become aware of your toes,

Your feet and your ankles.

Feel them grow heavy as every muscle relaxes.

Now relaxing even more,

Focus on your legs all the way up to your thighs.

Scan your legs over for any tense muscles and allow all the tension to leave you now.

Bringing your attention to your pelvic area,

Your stomach and your lower back.

Feel a wave of relaxation spread through these parts of you now.

Focusing any stored energies that are unhelpful to you,

Allow these energies to flow away.

Now to your chest and upper back.

Breathe out any tension in these areas.

And continue to fully relax.

Now to your shoulders.

They may be raised a little.

We do tend to keep tension there.

Allow your shoulders to drop to the most relaxed position,

Releasing all that no longer serves you.

Now allow your awareness to travel down your arms.

Your arms are growing heavy.

All the way to your hands and fingertips.

Every muscle is relaxing and releasing.

Now to your neck,

Face and head.

Imagine any thoughts and stresses flowing away out into creation.

Unclench your jaw.

Relax the muscles around your eyes.

And allow your brow to soften.

You are now very calm and relaxed.

Calm and relaxed.

And so you drift deeper and deeper into a deep,

Deep state of relaxation.

And every time you hear the words calm and relaxed,

You will drift deeper into a state of total relaxation.

Every time you hear the words calm and relaxed,

You will drift deeper and deeper.

Set the intention now to meet your inner child in love and light.

In a moment,

I'll count you down and you will find yourself in the most favourite place of your younger self.

Alone with you as a child,

In the happiest place you experienced back then.

Here we go.

Ten,

Nine,

Eight,

Drifting deeper and deeper.

Seven,

Six,

Five,

Going there now.

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

And find yourself in this happy place.

Take a moment to observe.

What do you see around you?

Allow your surroundings to form effortlessly.

Staying calm and relaxed.

The younger you is there,

Perhaps between the age of three and ten.

They are with you here.

Observe their appearance.

Now either in your mind or out loud,

Say hello and tell them that you are a friend.

Go ahead.

Now tell your inner child that you love them and you will always love them.

Go ahead.

Ask your inner child how they are feeling and give them a hug.

Ask them what they think of their favourite place here.

Now in a moment,

I'll count from five to one and you will find yourself in a place and time in your childhood at a significant event experienced by your younger self where negative emotion was strong at a time as early as possible in life.

And you will find your inner child there also.

Tell your younger self here first though,

In this happy place,

That you will return shortly.

Ok,

It's time to move in time to a significant event in the past.

Here we go.

Five,

Four,

Three,

Moving back in time now,

Two,

One.

And find yourself with your younger self within a memory and observe what's going on.

Let the memory form for you now,

Taking your time and taking it easy.

And let the memory play out for a few moments.

Now freeze frame this memory.

Freeze frame everything and everyone else there apart from your child self.

Turn to your inner child.

Comfort them now.

Speak to your younger self and explain what has just happened in this memory and that everything will be ok.

Tell your inner child what they need to hear to feel better and help them to understand as best they can.

Reassure them a bit more now about the situation and provide advice on how to get through this.

Tell your inner child that they are loved.

Ok,

Allow that memory to fade now.

Staying very calm and relaxed.

In a moment I'll count you up and you will find yourself in that happy place once more.

That favourite place of your inner child.

Here we go.

And find yourself in the happy place once more.

Staying very calm and relaxed.

Observe your inner child there,

Whatever age they are now.

They are playing.

Observe the surroundings,

Feel the pleasant energies and watch them play happily.

Tell your younger self that you'll always be with them.

Ask them if there is anything they'd like to tell you.

And respond now with a helpful answer.

Tell them you have to go now,

But you're always together anyway.

Wish them love once more and have a hug.

Well done,

Your inner child is safe and happy here.

It's almost time to return.

And in a moment I'll count you up to return to your adult self of today.

Here we go.

Returning feeling healed and rested.

10.

And returned back to your body.

Take a deep breath in.

And breathe out.

All is well.

All is peaceful.

You can open your eyes when ready.

Perform self care won't you?

And always talk to a friend or loved one for support if you need to.

Also have a rest.

When we love and care for our inner child and help our younger self understand events that went on,

We feel better and better today.

Wow 🀩 Nicky thanks for this it brought me to tears. I had not dealt with a particular memeory from When I was about 5 years old that manifested in a energy block in my body.
