How cultivate silver linings in life? A silver lining is a metaphor for optimism, which means a negative occurrence may have a positive aspect to it and that life is in duality and that we can"t have light without darkness and day without night. We explore the opportunities of dualism and optimism for a happier life without resisting change but allowing us to love, accept and surrender. Outlook for a silver lining to occur in our life.

You could say that we can make sure that we can see that our life is enjoyable and reaching and totally worthwhile.

Sometimes life will drop here and that's the way it is.

The dark clouds will always come in just similar to like we've just had two weeks of solid cloud in our life and lots of flooding in New South Wales and other countries and we've been drenched but there is a bit of sunshine popping through those clouds and now we're looking for the silver lining.

We must feel good in health and mindfulness of other things like even taking a sip of a delicious cacao or coffee or a hot chocolate and the idea is to be able to shift us into another beautiful positive realm.

The second step we can take is to think when was the last time that we actually went through or we can think of a time that was something that didn't go well with us and when we felt that we felt frustrated,

We were so irritated and totally upset about something and we think about what may have turned the situation and the pleasurable outcome.

What changes occurred?

How did we see?

Was there a silver lining to see?

Did the negative turn into a positive into that circumstance?

And the key is like was the positive circumstance achieved by an open heart or was it a closed and negative thoughts and feelings?

So the key is we need to have open heart to see and turn dark days,

Cloudy days into a pleasurable feeling even though there are clouds around us.

And that can help us solve and cope better and create that emotional stability that we look for a healthy lifestyle and be flexible in this life rather than being stuck onto something.

Things that we can do to enforce or gently create silver linings in our life or to be to more awareness,

Not overwhelming,

Things we need to be doing is to be more optimistic in this life.

We can practice compassion and we do that by being service to others or even more compassion to ourselves.

Once the Dalai Lama said,

If you want others to be happy,

Practice compassion.

If you want to be happy,

Practice compassion.

Do service work for others.

It's not about us if we can focus on doing service for others like similar to more about the listener that someone that might need to hear this information to be able to turn silver linings,

To be more aware of silver linings,

Much quicker in their life,

Much more healthier,

Mind setting.

Another thing is being more grateful in this life.

Gratitude allows us to cope and create the positivity.

Even though we live in this world in duality,

We can don't stay too much in the negative duality but are able to seal silver linings and quickly come out of the gym and twist it and turn it.

So when faced with challenges,

We can learn when to approach a situation with acceptance,

Courage and wisdom.

This is beautifully articulated in a serenity prayer and it says,

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

Courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

So that is a wonderful prayer to continue to say when we do have that black cloud around us maybe for too long is consistently be open to that prayer.

We always need to find things to look forward to.

Yep,

Finding things to totally look forward to.

No matter how gleam the life might appear for us at this stage but there is a sunshine waiting to come through,

Through that cloud and that wind to push through.

If we consider everything as a challenge,

How wonderful will life be rather than looking at things I can't do this and if you think you can't then you won't and you think you can't then you definitely can't and so wondering if you can change your mindset to consider everything as a challenge and enjoy a rite of passage to that challenge.

You also will avoid catastrophizing because this is a cognitive distortion in which a situation is overblown or future experiences are considered bleak for us.

We don't have to go into that negative frequency thinking that the world is like useless or hopeless.

We don't have to create and stay into this space that there is no change unless we choose to go there.

Know your triggers is another one.

What triggers us in that black cloud is something to learn from that black cloud.

What are we hung up on?

What is showing for us in the mirror image of one another because we are actually a mirror image of one another,

Especially our close ones.

They are trying to teach us that maybe we should be more compassionate,

Maybe we should be listening,

Maybe we should love,

Maybe we should accept more,

Maybe we should surrender.

Sometimes using a positive mantra,

Even though I feel this way,

I totally love and accept myself.

You can say that.

Even though I am feeling this way,

I totally love and accept myself.

That is worth saying one more time.

Even though I am feeling this way,

I totally love and accept myself.

Once we repeat the mantra,

We can say,

I am fully capable and competent each morning.

I am fully capable and competent.

We say that each morning.

Maybe we repeat that ten times in line as a mantra.

I am fully capable and competent in this life.

Practicing forgiveness.

When we are as a person preoccupied with feelings of anger and others,

They are less open to experiencing a sense of optimism.

Why must we stay in that lower frequency too long,

Preoccupied with that frequency,

The lower vibrational frequency of feeling anger,

And which closes up,

Which we are not open to experiencing a sense of optimism.

Number one on this list was to create an optimism.

Be more optimized.

Optimize our life.

Create the juices that we need to see that silver lining in the world of duality.

We must do things that bring us joy.

Look at life as joyful.

What have you done today that has created joy?

Were we mindful of simple things like mindful eating or taking time out?

And then we can practice starting each day with positivity the best we can.

So that is on that one.

Sometimes we can look at things like,

If you change the way you look at things,

The things you look,

The things you look changes.

So this is wonderful.

This is a quote from Dr.

Wayne Dwyer,

No longer with us.

His lovely spirit has actually passed a little while back now,

But this is very close to a lot of holistic healers.

And the question is,

How do we embody this quote from Dr.

Dwayne Dwyer?

How can we practice this simple but complex ideology of preferred states without any spirit of bypassing or toxic positivity?

I mean the word toxic positivity is that we have to be responsible for all our actions and we can't just be in spiritual bypassing and not neglect our responsibility and allowing other forces to actually encourage change.

But we have to be responsible to it.

We can't be neglecting it.

So having said that,

You know,

It's all about if we can change the way you look at things,

The things you look at change.

And that's very empowering.

But we can't hide from other dualities that influence that kind of thought.

How do we check that we are using correct filters to perceive this outcome without being delusional or lost in the process,

But being realistic in a dimensional world?

This should be practiced regularly.

If we embody that quote from Dr.

Dwayne Dwyer,

And maybe things will change again,

It's worth repeating,

If we can just practice the mantra love,

Acceptance and surrender,

The silver linings will keep showing up much quicker.

And those words,

Three words,

Love,

Acceptance and surrender,

May paint a clear picture and open to the truth and bring forth silver linings much more easily and frequently in our lives.

Now Helen Keller once wrote a wonderful quote,

And like the quote,

Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow.

Wonderful.

So how would we interpret this kind of quote?

In this quote for the train mindset,

Or anyone can apply this way of thinking,

If we can all think this way,

Are we bordering on a toxic positivity or spiritual bypassing and not addressing the real issue of a circumstance while practicing avoidance as it may prove easier to cope with life?

That's nice,

But we still need to keep our faces to the sunshine.

And you cannot see a shadow.

No,

I'm not sure the shadow,

I think sometimes we need to see the shadow.

We need to learn from the shadow,

Embrace our shadow.

We want to see the shadow.

I think Helen Keller is nice on a positive level but that is like spiritual bypassing.

I like to think that we should embrace our shadows,

We should learn from our shadows,

Not avoid our shadows.

It is like rejecting painful thoughts or rejecting physical pain.

Why would it happen if we just embrace it,

Acknowledge the pain?

And I think that that will allow us to come into the silver linings much quicker once more.

And our silver linings are there for our learnings.

More than ending on the silver lining,

When we feel that we are free within,

We are free without.

The human being is to be empty,

To be human is to be empty,

To know fulfilment,

To feel sad and to know the feelings of joy,

To feel sorrow and to know the feeling of peace,

To feel angry and to know the feelings of compassion,

To be in doubt and to know clarity,

To be bored and to know inspiration,

To be hurried and to know stillness,

To hear noise and to know silence,

To feel bad and to know how to feel good.

Thank you.
