Preferably sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor.
And now gently close your eyes.
We will now take three deep breaths.
So breathe in deeply through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.
Let's take two more deep breaths.
Breathe in again.
Breathe out through the mouth.
Let's take the third deep breath.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Now,
Come back to your normal breathing pattern.
And notice the rise and fall of your chest or belly with the natural rhythm of your breath.
Every time you inhale,
Your chest rises and every time you exhale,
It falls.
Notice your breath.
No need to change it.
Simply observe.
With each inhalation,
Imagine drawing in pure,
Calming energy.
With every exhalation,
Release stress,
Worry or any heaviness.
Let your mind become like a still lake,
Calm and reflective.
There is a part of you which is very creative.
The part that helps you imagine and visualize various things.
That part is now going to help you imagine or visualize Lord Shiva sitting in snow-capped mountains.
He is a symbol of purification and transformation.
Imagine him sitting calmly on a tiger's skin,
Surrounded by white mist and soft cosmic energy.
You can notice his long hair flowing gently with the cool mountain breeze and the crescent moon on his head shines magically.
You notice his trident by the side,
A symbol of protection with a small hourglass shaped hand drum attached to it.
Feel the energy radiating from him.
A beautiful energy that's a mix of power,
Calmness and infinite wisdom.
Imagine,
Notice,
Sense or visualize the energy moving towards you.
Surrounding you in a protective and calming aura.
This energy is blue in color and it starts to enter through the top of your head.
And as you inhale,
Feel it filling your mind,
Your face,
Your throat,
Your shoulders,
Your chest.
And as you exhale,
Feel any negativity,
Tension or fear dissolving into light.
Visualize this energy moving down your arms,
Your belly,
Your lower body,
Into your legs and feet,
Cleansing every part of you.
With each breath,
Feel stronger,
Lighter and calmer.
Now visualize a protective blue light forming around you,
Sealing in positivity,
Inner strength and peace.
Now start with the Aum chanting after me.
Now continue to chant Aum for a minute or so as I stay quiet.
Now sense Shiva's presence,
Not just in your mind but around you,
Calming,
Protective,
Supportive.
Feel gratitude for being connected to this divine energy.
Now bring your awareness back to your body,
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And slowly and gently open your eyes.
Carry this calm,
Purified energy with you throughout the day.
Whenever stress or negativity arises,
Just remember this blue energy.
It's Shiva's protective presence and your inner strength.
