Connect with your body and its touchpoints. Feel into sore muscles and encourage some relaxation. Allow yourself to let go of body tension and mental chatter. Sink into the surface below you and rest in doing nothing. This can be done in any posture.

We're going to focus on what your body is doing right now.

And most likely it's probably in a position of rest.

Just connecting with the contact points of whatever is supporting you in this moment.

Whether that's a chair or a pillow or a bed.

And just coming into that stability and support beneath you.

Seeing if you can shift your body to feel just a little bit more comfortable.

Wondering if there's a way to even support yourself more,

Whether it's by holding yourself a certain way or positioning your arms or legs to feel more restful.

And feeling into whatever areas might be constricted or gripping.

Muscles that are tight.

And if you can,

Encouraging a feeling of relaxation.

Even if it's just 5% more.

It's helpful to imagine softening in your system or a soothing warm liquid being poured on those muscles.

Or simply just being wrapped in love.

What would it be like to have your body just let go?

Sink in to whatever is beneath it.

Become heavy and weighted.

Saturated in warmth and safety and care.

Nothing to do,

Nowhere to go.

Whatever might be arising in the mind.

Perhaps those noticing those thoughts can also sink away.

Away from your mind,

Away from your body.

Go back into the earth instead of living in you.

Perhaps inviting some deep breaths where you're even making a sigh of relief,

A sigh of letting go on the out breath.

Just letting everything go for this moment.

Right here,

Right now.
