So we'll start as we always can with coming down from the thinking mind and into the feeling body.
Just noticing what a relief it is to come down into this body just as it is.
Don't come all the way down to the base of the body where your body comes into contact with the cushion or the floor or your chair.
Just really feeling how grounded and solid this body is holding you steady on the earth and just,
What a relief it is to surrender to the body's groundedness.
And down there at the base of the body,
You imagine or sense that right under the body is the earth.
The earth,
The golden ground.
Imagine the soil below you,
It's rich,
Full of life.
As you notice the ground and the soil,
You feel roots growing down from the base of your spine,
Growing down,
Winding through the soil to anchor you to the earth below.
Now you're grounded and rooted.
As you follow those roots up,
You sense the base of your body is the base of a tree.
Your hips where the tree's trunk widens at the base.
Feeling the tree up into your lower back,
Which is the tree's trunk,
Into your belly,
Chest,
And following the trunk up into your shoulders.
Following the tree up into the neck.
This tree trunk stands up through the head,
Reaches up through the crown of your head,
Grows up above into the sky.
And in your mind's eyes,
You look up with your mind's eye,
You see a canopy of branches and leaves spreading out above you.
Some little flowers appearing on the branches between the leaves,
Little flowers blooming,
Swaying a little in the breeze.
And as you gaze up with your mind's eye,
Faces appear between the branches and you notice there are beings sitting on these branches.
These faces as you gaze,
They're familiar.
Your guides,
Family members who you loved and who loved you,
Who are alive now,
Some alive,
Some passed on.
The faces of saints or great beings you admire,
Who have inspired you and uplifted you throughout your life.
Faces,
Buddhas,
Bodhisattvas,
Embodiments of compassion,
Faces of spirit animals,
Faces of spirit animals,
Your natural refuge tree.
And all these beings who are sitting on branches of this tree,
They are.
They are radiant,
Glowing with the radiance of wisdom and love.
Face of light.
Each of them are gazing down at you the eyes of unconditional love and acceptance.
Wearing down through you to your deepest being,
Accepting you just as you are.
And you're just asking in their presence,
Enjoying this communing,
Sensing their radiance and as you open to their radiance,
It begins to flow down the branches in the form of a warm golden nectar made of light like sap flows down the inside of the branches of a tree.
Their radiance flows down the branches into the trunk of the tree,
Down the trunk and into the crown of your head.
This warm,
Radiant golden light infused with their love and their wisdom flows down into your head,
Flows through your face,
Filling your skull.
As it fills your skull,
You feel yourself open even more fully to just receiving this kind and gentle love.
Fills down into your jaw,
Into the throat,
Filling the neck with warm light,
This radiance of unconditional love into the lower part of the throat,
The upper spine flowing into the shoulders,
Receiving into every cell of your body warm,
Radiant,
Awake light flowing into the shoulders,
Flowing down your arms,
This warm light of kindness,
Non-dual wisdom,
Flowing into your elbows,
Down into the forearms,
Into the wrists,
Receiving into your hands,
All the way to the thumb and fingers,
Every part of you loved,
Seen,
Flowing down into your upper chest,
Feeling this light pooling around your breastbone,
Behind into the shoulder blades,
Slight flowing down into the diaphragm,
Receiving,
Receiving.
Flowing down into the belly,
Mid-back,
And as you move through the torso,
You may notice parts of the subtle body that are tense or defended.
You can't receive here,
Can't receive here.
This is too much,
Too painful.
It's all right to let that light flow around so it's surrounded,
Surrounded in golden light held in unconditional love.
Or that part might relax and open up and receive as being okay with whatever happens.
That's where we hold our emotions in the subtle body,
The torso,
Primarily heart area.
Receiving into the heart center and feeling that open and relaxed,
Letting the light flow through to the lower belly,
Receiving,
Feeling that warm golden nectar flowing into the lower into the hips,
Receiving qualities of courage and kindness into your seat.
Through the lower parts of the body and into the thighs,
Just receiving that warm golden nectar,
Luminous,
Radiant flowing down into the knees,
Flowing into the thighs,
Calves,
And into the ankles,
Flowing down into the feet,
All the way down into the roots below you,
Deep into the earth.
Now there's just a flow like a slow flowing river,
Receiving some of the residue of grasping and agitation.
You notice it flowing down,
Flowing through you down into the ground below,
Healed and loosened by this flow of love,
Wisdom,
Just receiving,
Receiving that radiance into our fears,
Letting it flow through them,
Receiving into our self judgment,
The parts of the self that are rigid or defended,
Receiving to those,
This light of kindness and unconditional love from your benefactors above.
Letting those parts melt and soften,
Receiving into the rigid thought patterns,
Those cycling thoughts that we get so caught up in,
Receiving into those and letting those be loved and held and saturated with this nectar of unconditional love and wisdom.
Just receiving from your natural refuge tree.
Gradually,
This radiance flowing through you from your benefactors.
This radiance begins to open up into its essence,
Which is beyond this self receiving and these wise kind presences giving into the field of oneness.
As that radiance begins to dissolve into its essence,
You can let go of the visualization and relax into the field of radiance itself,
Which is boundless,
Warm,
Open,
Wakeful,
And not only is this Burke Traceright SEEK can Average Tinged with the warmth of love.
