Welcome to this New Moon Meditation.

We are welcoming in a new moon in Cancer.

The new moon is a powerful time for setting intentions,

Beginning new projects and planting the seeds for future growth.

As we enter the energy of Cancer,

We are called to connect deeply with our emotions,

Our home and our family.

Cancer is a water sign ruled by the moon and it embodies qualities such as sensitivity,

Nurturing,

Intuition and emotional intelligence.

People with Cancer as their sun sign are often caring,

Compassionate and deeply connected to the inner world and to their loved ones.

As we gather under this new moon in Cancer,

We tap into a collective energy that encourages us to focus on our emotional well-being,

Our homes and our family connections.

This is a time to honor our feelings,

Practice self-care and nurture our relationships.

The energy of Cancer invites us to create a sanctuary within ourselves and our surroundings.

Now let's begin our meditation.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Close your eyes if this feels safe for you and take a few deep breaths.

Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Allow yourself to settle into the space,

Letting go of any tension or any stress.

Imagine yourself in a safe,

Nurturing environment.

This could be a cozy room,

A peaceful garden or a tranquil beach.

Feel the comforting energy of this place.

This is your sanctuary,

A place where you can be your true self.

Now bring your attention to your breath.

Inhale deeply through your nose and allow your belly to rise.

Hold for a moment and then exhale slowly through your mouth,

Letting your belly fall.

Continue this deep,

Rhythmic breathing.

With each inhale,

Imagine drawing in the nurturing energy of Cancer.

With each exhale,

Release any tension,

Stress or worries you may be holding on to.

So inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Now bring your awareness to your body.

Start at the top of your head and slowly scan downwards,

Noticing any areas of tension or discomfort.

As you find these areas,

Send your breath there,

Imagining them relaxing and releasing.

Move down through your face,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your chest,

Your abdomen,

Your hips,

Your legs,

Your knees,

Your ankles,

And finally your feet.

Take your time,

Allowing each part of your body to fully relax and let go.

As you relax into this space,

Repeat the following affirmations silently or out loud,

Letting each one resonate deeply within you.

Feel free to pause after every affirmation to take a few breaths to let its meaning sink in deeply.

I am safe and protected.

I honor and trust my intuition.

I nurture myself and those I love.

I am connected to my inner wisdom.

I embrace my emotions and find peace within them.

My home is a sanctuary of love and warmth.

I am open to receiving and giving unconditional love.

I release what no longer serves me.

I welcome new positive energy.

I trust the natural flow of life and its cycles.

I am at peace with my past,

My present,

And my future.

Now let's connect to the element of water.

Water symbolizes emotion,

Intuition,

And the subconscious mind.

Visualize a calm,

Serene body of water.

This could be a lake,

A gentle stream,

Or the vast ocean.

Imagine yourself standing by this water,

Feeling its soothing presence.

Now see yourself stepping into the water.

Feel its cool,

Refreshing touch on your skin.

As you immerse yourself,

Imagine the water washing away any negativity,

Any emotional burdens you may be carrying.

Feel yourself becoming lighter,

More at ease with each passing moment.

Engage all your senses in this visualization.

Hear the gentle lapping of the water.

Smell the fresh,

Clean scent of nature.

And even taste the saltiness of the ocean or the fresh sweetness of the stream.

Let this multi-sensory experience deepen your connection to this peaceful state.

Focus on your breath once more,

Allowing it to become slow and steady.

With each inhale,

Imagine drawing in the nurturing energy of cancer.

With each inhale,

Release any fears or worries.

Visualize a soft,

Glowing light at the center of your chest,

Expanding with each breath.

This light represents your inner sanctuary,

Now place your hands over your heart.

Feel its steady rhythm.

Imagine your heart as a glowing,

As you breathe in,

Visualize your heart filling with light and warmth.

As you breathe out,

See this light expanding outward,

Spreading love and peace to the world around you.

Now repeat those affirmations,

In silence or out loud,

While you focus on your heart.

My heart is open to love and compassion.

I am a source of love and light.

I give and receive love freely and abundantly.

My heart guides me with wisdom and grace.

I am connected to the love that surrounds me.

Now let's take a moment to ground and balance our energy.

Visualize roots extending from your feet,

Anchoring you to the earth.

Feel the stability and the strength of those roots,

Connecting you to the nurturing energy of the earth.

As you breathe in,

Draw up the earth's energy,

Feeling it arise through your roots,

Onto your legs,

Your hips,

Your torso,

And finally your heart.

With each breath,
