Hello,
Beautiful friends.
This meditation is for those seeking to trust in the timing of their life to take this moment to sit,
Pause,
And simply hand over trust to the universe.
So I invite you here to find a comfortable position,
Close down your eyes if it feels safe for you,
And take a deep inhale breath through the nose and exhale out your mouth as we settle into this practice.
Let's meet ourselves with another breath just like that,
A deep inhale through your nose and an exhale,
Sigh it out of your mouth.
And as you begin to meet yourself,
Allow this opportunity for you to soften into this moment and to let go of any thoughts,
Stories,
Or conditions that do not serve you.
I welcome you to turn away from those limiting perspectives and to open up your heart to receive what the universe has in store for you through the gift of your breath.
Take a deep inhale straight into the body,
Exhale,
Release,
And let it all go.
Another deep inhale straight into the nose,
Into your body,
Exhale,
Release,
And let it all go.
And with this exhale,
Soften into your body,
Soften your face,
Soften your shoulders,
And soften your heart.
Today we are here to connect with trust,
Trust in ourselves,
And trust in the unfolding of our life.
When we trust,
We choose to surrender.
When we trust,
We are choosing to allow.
When we trust,
We are choosing to let life take its course.
And when we trust with all of our heart,
We send a vibrational message back to the universe that we believe we are supported no matter the outcome,
No matter the unfolding.
Life experiences may have conditioned us to fear trust.
And when we lean out of trust,
Holding on tightly to the past or projecting our worries into a future that hasn't happened,
We stay in a vibration of what we have always known.
And we borrow grief from a could-be future.
In this moment,
My sweet friends,
We are choosing to release the grip from that control,
From the should-have and could-be,
And leaning into simply and softly trusting to let the beauty of our life unfold now.
We are offering ourselves the beautiful gift of having what is meant for us fall into place.
Take a deep inhale here through your nose,
And with your exhale release the grip.
Another deep inhale here through your nose,
And with your exhale release that grip just a little further.
And with this next inhale,
I invite you to welcome in trust with your inhale.
And with your exhale,
Release the grip even further and let go of control.
Deep inhale here,
Inviting in trust.
Exhale,
Release the grip even further and let go of control.
To live from a place of trust is to be in this present moment.
Instead of feeling fear of what may be to come,
I invite you into your heart and into your truth,
And to take this moment to pause and feel into curiosity.
Pause and listen to the whispers of your truth,
And ask yourself inwardly,
What can I surrender over to the universe at this time?
Where can I release the grip and hand it over to trust?
Take an inhale here through the nose,
And exhale,
Release through your mouth.
With each breath in,
And each breath out,
Ask yourself,
Where can I release the grip and hand it over to the universe?
What is your truth calling forth to surrender?
What is it asking you to allow for expansion,
To birth something new into your life?
What does it feel like to allow in trust into your being,
Into your heart,
Into your mind,
And into your soul?
The same trust that we have that our heart will take its next beat,
We can offer ourselves the same trust that there will be joy after suffering,
There will be rainbows after the rain,
And there will be the beautiful lotus that blooms from the mud.
If it feels comfortable for you,
I invite you to put your hands on your heart,
Or you can visualize your hands on your heart,
And in this moment hold your heart with intention and warmth.
Share with your heart that it is loved,
That it is safe,
And that you are here for you.
To listen,
To honor,
And to trust in all that this heart is meant to experience.
I welcome you to take three deep and intentional breaths here,
And to lovingly feel into holding your heart with trust with each breath that you take.
Do not rush your breaths.
These three breaths are just for you,
And take these breaths as a moment to pause and to deeply hold your heart,
And to trust in the beauty that is unfolding for you.
One more deep inhale here,
And a very long exhale out.
In the words of one of my dearest teachers,
Learning to trust is a muscle that we work in our bodies.
To trust and to surrender can trigger feelings of fear or resistance,
But as your faith strengthens,
You will find that the need for control will start to dissipate.
Life will flow as it is meant to,
And you will start to flow with it.
Trust will be your compass and your guiding light.
When you feel ready,
And only when you feel ready,
I invite you to start to bring some awareness back into your body.
You can wiggle your toes or your fingers,
Create any form of movement,
Whatever is calling to your body.
Take your time.
Before you open your eyes,
If you have them closed,
I invite you to take a gesture that feels most comfortable to you,
That can be palms together,
Hands to your heart,
Hands on your face,
And take this gesture with the warmth,
And hold gently the sweet fruits of this practice with love.
All the things you felt in the last few minutes here,
Notice them and commit to yourself,
How can I bring this forward as I move through my day?
Commit to yourself and see how can you bring these beautiful truths forward as you off your mat and back into the world.
Thank you for taking this time to meditate with me.
Have a wonderful day.
