Transcript

Today I have a quick guided meditation for you that will help relax your mind and declutter your thoughts.

Begin by sitting down if you haven't already done so.

Close your eyes and start to bring awareness to your breath.

Breathe in deeply.

Feel the air fill up your lungs.

Take in a deep cleansing breath and on your next exhale let out all the negative thoughts you've been accumulating throughout the day.

Next,

Start to imagine a snow globe and as you begin to visualize this snow globe in your mind,

Begin to shake it as hard as you can.

Once you start shaking it,

Silently count backwards from ten while continuing to shake.

Ten,

Nine,

Eight,

Seven,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

And one.

Now stop shaking the globe and watch the snow inside of it begin to settle.

And as you watch the snow settling down,

Imagine that the snow globe is your mind and the settling flakes of snow are your thoughts.

And as the flecks of snow in your imaginary globe begin to settle and float to the ground,

So do your thoughts.

And you let go of any stress that the day has caused you.

Watch the snow all come down and become still.

And like that globe,

You now are also still.

And as you look at your snow globe,

A great sensation of peace begins to fill your lungs as you calmly breathe in and out.

Whenever you're ready,

Gently blink open your eyes and head back into your day,

Feeling a bit more at peace.
