Today we're going to work on bringing a sense of peace into our daily lives.

In this short meditation,

We will create a space of serenity that we can visit any time we need it.

When life gets busy,

We often feel distracted or unable to concentrate.

It's during those times that it becomes important to pause and focus on our well-being.

Let's get started on reaching that sense of peace and letting go of any stress we're feeling right now.

First,

Sit down in a comfortable position,

Relax,

And close your eyes.

Let go of your thoughts and take three deep cleansing breaths in through your nose,

Out through your mouth.

As you breathe in and out,

Release any thoughts with each exhale.

Sigh them out.

Next,

Think of a word or a few words that either bring to mind serenity or that remind you of something you would like to embody,

Such as peace,

Love,

Joy,

Courage,

Bliss.

As you pick your words,

Pair it up with an inhale,

And as you inhale,

Say the word I to yourself.

I and then as you exhale,

Say am and whatever the word was that you chose.

I am love.

I am peace.

I am strength.

I am joy.

Can you continue to repeat this to yourself?

If your mind starts to wander,

Simply bring it back to your mantra and continue with your repetitions until you feel ready to take on the rest of your day.

Namaste.
