Welcome to your meditation,
Slowing down to speed up.
Please listen to this when you're in a quiet space where you won't be disturbed.
Never when you're driving or operating machinery.
Now get yourself comfortable and let's begin.
I'd like you to close your eyes now and take a deep breath in.
And a slow breath out.
And taking another deep breath in.
And a slow breath out.
And one more time.
Another deep breath in.
And a slow breath out.
Now wherever you're sitting,
I'd like you to feel yourself being held and supported by the chair,
The sofa,
The bed,
The floor,
Wherever you're sat.
And as you continue to allow your breathing to settle at its own pace,
I'd like you to inhale love and exhale gratitude.
Feeling your body relax and your nervous system release.
Feeling your scalp,
Your eyebrows,
Your facial muscles,
Your cheeks,
Your jaw all relax as any tension melts away just like the wax dripping down a candle.
And now moving on to your throat.
Feeling any blockage melting away.
Feeling any tension in your shoulders loosen as you allow them to drop down.
Feeling any tightness in your chest melting away.
Reminding yourself that right now here in this moment,
You have nothing to do.
You can simply be at one with yourself.
And now I'd like you to place a hand on your heart.
Just becoming aware of your breath however it is in this moment,
No judgement just observation.
Taking your time,
Encourage your breath now to move into your heart center.
And now,
As you breathe out,
I want you to imagine that you are expanding and you are opening.
You are opening now to receive.
And as you sit there,
Ready to receive,
I'd like you to remember and call forward that busyness that you are used to operating in.
Those days when you wake up and the first thought in your mind is the jobs that you have to do.
The days where you don't sit in the sunshine with your coffee.
The days where you don't even remember drinking your coffee.
The days where you barely have time to eat.
Those days you bounce from task to task,
From interaction to interaction.
The days your mind and body is screaming out for you to stop,
But you can't hear them.
The days where you're almost too busy to breathe.
The days where you fall into bed,
Only to toss and turn with the sheer volume of thoughts erasing through your mind.
Now I invite you to know where in your body do you feel this busyness and just take a moment to locate that busyness in your body.
You might like to imagine it as a colour or a shape or even an object.
And locating and feeling that busyness now.
Just explore it.
Are they sharp,
Angular edges or are they fuzzy and nondescript?
Just get a really good feeling of that shape,
That object,
That feeling in your body.
So you know what it feels like when you're in that contraction in your body.
Now,
So we don't get lost within the stories of what our busyness might make us believe is the truth about our lives.
I want you right now to imagine a bright white light shining above you.
This light is your life force.
The light within you.
Your truth.
The truth you hold deep within your heart.
It's your source of calm and strength.
Your life force that shows you that you know that you are in control.
And what I want you to do now is send that bright white light down,
Down through the seven layers of your skin,
Down through your marrow.
Deep down until you find that source of busyness.
That shape,
That object,
That colour,
That feeling.
And as you do this,
Breathe in and imagine that light is moving deep into you.
It's evaporating every part of your busyness.
As your busyness is confronted by this bright white light,
It disintegrates.
It disappears never to be got back.
It's gone.
And as your life force is evaporating your busyness and it's disintegrating it,
All that is left for you is your quiet,
Calm strength.
Your deep inner knowing and wisdom that everything is happening for you.
And all you need to do is relax and allow this consciousness to flow through you.
And as you allow this consciousness to flow through you,
You have a deep knowing that everything in your life is in flow.
Everything is happening easily and effortlessly.
You feel in complete harmony.
You have an inner knowing that everything will happen at the right time and in the right way.
Because you have this deep inner knowing,
Your focus becomes sharper and you can clearly see,
Even with your eyes closed,
What is important and what you can let go of.
All because you have this ability to tap into your quiet,
Calm,
Inner strength and lead from within.
Suddenly everything becomes easier and everything becomes more enjoyable.
Life becomes easier and you feel a much greater ease within you,
Confident that you are growing in every part of your life.
You see,
Right now,
All you have is the present.
This present moment to reconnect to your life force.
This present moment where you are grateful to reconnect to your life force,
To feel your calm,
Quiet strength.
To live in ease and flow so you can grow and lead from within.
Letting that light force keep you grounded,
Keeping you supporting your families,
Your communities,
So you can keep serving.
Now when you're ready,
I'd like you to take another deep breath in.
And out.
And now,
In front of you,
You see a tunnel.
It might seem dark,
But you can see an opening of where you need to go.
And I want you to walk through that opening.
Take that journey now and come back to this time,
This moment,
This body.
Connect back to your body.
You might like to wiggle your toes and your fingers,
Roll your shoulders.
And when you're ready,
You can easily and effortlessly open up your eyes,
Knowing that your life force is reconnected to you.
Knowing that you are ready to lead from within.
You are ready to lead from within.
