In this recording,

You will experience going into a state of hypnosis and relaxation.

Please get into a comfortable position,

Seated or lying down,

Where your entire body can be comfortable and relaxed.

And I'd like you to start with your eyes open and look up as if you are trying to look into your own eyebrows or hairline and keep your eyes glued to a real or imagined spot in the head and breathe in and breathe out.

Another deep breath in and breathe out,

Keep your eyeballs right up and one final time breathe in.

And as you exhale,

Keep your eyeballs up but close your eyelids down.

As your eyelids shut down,

You'll notice a fluttering sensation in your eyes.

That fluttering sensation is the first sign that you're going into REM,

Rapid eye movement.

And you only get REM when you are dreaming in a subconscious state or going into hypnosis.

I want you now to forget all about your eyes.

I want you to allow a drifting floating feeling to develop in your body.

I want you to drop your chin so you feel that same looking down feeling that you might get as you look over a balcony or down the flight of stairs.

You have that looking down sensation.

And right now you are looking down 10 steps.

You are moving on to step 10.

As each muscle,

Every nerve loosens,

Lets loose and you go deeper.

And as you're taking step nine,

You can actually see your feet making contact with each step.

And you begin to feel a warm,

Delicious wave of relaxation moving up from the tips of your toes into the balls and soles of the feet and the tops of the feet,

Moving up into the ankles.

You feel a warm wave of relaxation moving up into your calves,

Into your shins and going around the fronts and backs of your knees.

As you take step eight,

You can hear your feet touching the eighth step and you feel this warm wave of relaxation moving higher up into your thighs,

Up into your buttocks and your pelvic area.

You're taking step seven and you can feel your feet on every step as you feel this warm relaxation loosening every nerve and muscle in your body as it moves up into your lower abdomen around your back and your lower back.

Coming up into your mid and upper back,

You feel this warm wave of relaxation moving up your spine,

Allowing the muscles to loosen and relax.

And around to the front of the body now,

You feel the warm wave of relaxation moving up into your chest and rib cage area.

As you're taking step six now,

You can see your feet,

Hear your feet and feel your feet connecting with each step as you go deeper and deeper into an awareness of yourself.

You're taking step five,

You're halfway down as each muscle,

Every nerve relaxes and lets go and you go deeper as the warm waves of relaxation move through your body,

Moving up into your upper chest,

Into your collarbones,

Over the tops and backs of the shoulders,

Into the shoulder blades,

And then spilling down into each upper arm area,

Moving into the elbows and down,

Cascading this warm wave of relaxation into your forearms,

Wrists,

Palms and back of the hands and you feel this warm relaxation in each fingertip and you drift your attention up to your neck area in the front and back of your neck is now engulfed in this rising wave of relaxation as it moves up over the back of the head and you feel it cascading down over your face,

Over your eyes,

Your ears,

Your cheekbones into your jaw and now your entire body is resting in this wave of warm relaxing energy and you're taking step four as you gently calmly easily move on over to an even deeper level.

You're taking step three as every sound,

Noise and movement around you flows through you and you go deeper and you're taking step two as you go deeper,

Drift deeper,

Sink deeper and now you are taking step one and now sleep deeply and you're just becoming more and more and more relaxed.

Go deeper,

Drift deeper,

50 times deeper and deeper just means you're going deeper into your own internal state.

You're going deeper into an awareness of yourself and you feel your entire body engulfed in this warm wave of relaxation and peaceful energy and you now imagine that you're floating on a white puffy cloud that's holding you and soothing you and you're moving throughout a beautiful space where there is nothing but peace and relaxation as you breathe in and breathe out and you notice any thoughts,

Any emotions,

Any physical sensations in the body,

Just drifting in and out of your awareness as you drift along in this deepened state of relaxation,

You continue to go deeper into a relaxed and comfortable inner atmosphere inside of yourself and now you can see how easily able you are to go into this state and be in a state of total relaxation and peace and you breathe in and breathe out,

Allowing the breath to drift in and out.

Being the observer of this physical sensation in the body and any feelings,

Any sensations,

Any thoughts that come,

You are easily able to let them drift in and out of your awareness like waves lapping at the shoreline,

They go in and out and never ending and soothing and making you feel as if you're even more relaxed now as you drift and drift on this beautiful cloud of peaceful energy and now I'd like you to bring some movement into your fingers and toes,

Feeling them move is bringing you back to a more wakeful state now if you choose to come out of this hypnotic state and back into a wakeful space to move forward into your day with relaxation,

With rejuvenation and revitalization or you can continue to drift and move on into a deeper level of sleep or dream state.

If you would like to come back to a wakeful state,

Bring more movement into your body,

Whatever feels good for you as you gently on the count of five and four,

You're bringing more movement to your extremities,

Maybe starting to let the eyes drift open on the count of three and two and the count of one you open your eyes,

You're feeling totally present totally relaxed,

Totally here and now,

Integrating that relaxed peaceful state into your wakeful state to help you move forward into your day in an even deeper level of presence and ease and comfort.
