This is a yoga nidra for you to explore your own sacred temple of wisdom,
Inner knowledge,
And intuition.
My name is Natalie.
In this meditation,
We take inspiration from symbols.
A temple symbolizing a space where knowledge,
Sacred writings,
And history is kept safe.
A place where the afterlife and the earth unite.
The sun,
Symbolizing life,
Clarity,
Energy,
And power.
And a glass sphere,
Symbolizing psychic abilities and gaining insight in what is hidden.
These symbols will come up later in this yoga nidra meditation.
Although a symbol might mean something specific,
Trust your own intuition first.
As we visualize these symbols,
You can use their meanings to tune into your own clarity,
Your own power,
And your own insight.
Make yourself up a nidra nest,
Supporting your head,
Supporting your back body,
Perhaps a pillow underneath your knees if you're lying down.
Take a slow breath into your nose,
And then a gentle sigh out of your mouth,
Release into this support beneath you.
Take another slow breath in,
Filling your body with breath and awareness,
And then release it out in your own time.
Connect to this support,
The support beneath your body,
And the support that acts as a sense of safety inside of your body,
Inside of your mind.
Feel a sense of trust in your own ability to calm and to self-soothe.
And so with this sense of trust in mind,
See if you can let go of any tension,
Let go of any control,
And really allow your body to sink down.
Feel a sense of softening in your awareness.
Allow your outer senses and anything else that's going on outside of your body to become a little hazy,
To fade into the background.
Take a moment now to think about a sankalpa,
A heart's intention or a heart's vow for your practice today.
You might use your own,
Or I invite you to use one of the following.
I trust my intuition.
I trust the wisdom of my body.
My body is a sacred temple.
Choose something that resonates with you in this moment,
And then quietly repeat it to yourself three times.
Bring your attention to your third eye center,
The space between your eyebrows.
Begin to move your awareness to your eyebrows,

Sense the crown of your head,
Keep your awareness on the crown of your head,
Sensing your natural breath,
Imagine your breath entering through your third eye center,
Coming up to the crown of your head,
And then exhaling back out your third eye center,
Natural breath,
Touching your third eye center,
Touching the top of your head,
And back out,
Allow your body to settle and rest so your nervous system can fall into a deep resting state,
All awareness on the natural rhythm of your breath,
As you allow your awareness to sink down into the depths of your consciousness,
Become aware of any thoughts present,
Allow them to come in and then to gradually exit,
Allowing any thoughts to slowly float by,
Imagining that they were leaves floating in a river,
Without holding on to those thoughts or those stories,
Notice them and watch them pass,
Allow this river of thought to clear your mind of stories and old beliefs of self,
Become present in the stillness,
In the silence,
It's in silence and stillness that you can best tune into your own wisdom and intuition,
Within the darkness of your consciousness,
Begin to imagine yourself standing inside of an ancient temple,
All around you,
Golden light pouring in,
Illuminating the sacred writings and symbols on the walls,
Take in the space around you,
The lights,
The symbols,
And the writings,
A short distance in front of you,
You see an altar,
As you slowly walk up to this altar,
You see in the center,
A small glass sphere,
This sphere holds the golden light of the sun,
Slowly take the sphere in your hand,
Noticing its radiant light,
Place it up to your forehead,
Feeling the warmth of the light entering through your third eye energy portal,
This light connects you to your own inner light,
To your own intuition,
With this small glass sphere still in your fingertips,
You begin to hold the sphere up to the skylight,
Seeing the light of the sun and the light of the sphere connect as one,
The power of the cleansing light in your body,
Warming your fingertips and spreading through you,
The golden light of the sun above,
The golden light in your fingertips,
And the golden light within you,
All connected as one,
Allow yourself to stay inside of this sacred temple,
You may allow the visuals to soften eventually,
Staying connected to this source of light,
To this clarity,
Insight,
Allow yourself to be here,
A deep sense of trust in your own intuition,
A deep sense of trust in your own inner knowing,
And a deep sense of trust in the afterlife,
Whatever may come,
Allow your awareness to rise back up through the layers of consciousness,
Coming back to your breath,
To your physical body,
From here,
You might allow your body to fall into a restful sleep,
We'll close this practice now,
I wish you a peaceful sleep,
Or a peaceful day.
