This second Soul Conversation Talk invites you into a theme that touches us all — wealth, and the many stories we inherit around it. Drawn from our live gatherings, these talks offer powerful teachings and lived wisdom you can return to whenever you need perspective and support. In this conversation, we look at the energetic roots of wealth — how family patterns, cultural conditioning, and inner child wounds shape the way we receive. You’ll explore the common blocks that keep us overgiving or doubting our worth, and discover simple, practical ways to bring your relationship with money back into alignment with your soul. Think of this as a companion for the moments when wealth feels complicated or out of reach — a talk to return to whenever you need clarity, encouragement, and a reminder that true wealth begins within.

Welcome back to Soul Conversations,

A series of talks that first began at live gatherings where we explored the deeper themes we all move through.

Change,

Uncertainty,

Wealth,

Joy and so much more.

Each talk is here as a practical tool,

Something you can return to when life feels unsettled and receive clear explanations,

Lived wisdom and simple reflections that help you navigate the unknown.

Our first conversation was navigating slow times,

A chance to explore what it means to trust the pauses and soften into waiting rather than fight against it.

Today we continue that journey with our second conversation,

Sacred Wealth.

This is a theme that has been with me for decades,

Shaping me,

Stretching me,

Sometimes breaking me open.

What I share here comes not from theory but from nearly 40 years of walking with money and learning slowly that wealth is never really about numbers on a page.

It's about relationship,

Power and the ways we've been taught to give or deny ourselves permission to receive.

Before we dive in,

I want to acknowledge something.

Wealth is a subject that touches all of us,

But it's not always easy to talk about.

We've each been conditioned by family,

Culture and society to see wealth in a certain way,

Often as something tied to survival,

Success or shame.

And because of that conditioning,

Conversations about wealth can feel tender,

Even confronting.

But that's also why they matter because when we bring light to the stories we've inherited,

We start to see where they've shaped us and we can begin to imagine new ways of living with wealth that feel true,

Supportive and free.

When I use the phrase Sacred Wealth,

I don't mean money as a prize,

A reward or proof that we've done enough.

For me,

Sacred Wealth is about relationship.

The way wealth moves through our lives,

Whether that's money,

Time,

Love or opportunities,

Shows us where we feel safe to receive and where we don't.

And underneath all of this are what I call the energetic roots of wealth.

These roots are formed by our earliest experiences,

The stories,

Patterns and imprints we inherited about value,

Survival and power.

They shape how we think about money,

But even more importantly,

How we feel when it enters or leaves our lives.

Wealth isn't separate from us.

It amplifies what is already there.

Our power brings wealth,

Not the other way round.

So,

When we talk about Sacred Wealth,

We are really talking about how we hold power,

How we value ourselves and how we let ourselves be supported.

And yet,

Both wealth and power have been layered with distortion,

Linked with greed,

Corruption and control,

Until many of us learn to distrust them.

Part of reclaiming Sacred Wealth is untying it from those old stories and remembering its true nature as something that can serve life,

Not diminish it.

When wealth and power have been distorted for so long,

It's no wonder we carry resistance to them.

We shrink from receiving because we've been taught that wanting more makes us greedy.

We overgive because somewhere along the way,

We learn that love had to be earned through sacrifice.

We apologise for our prices or discount before anyone asks because we fear being seen as selfish or unworthy.

These are some of the most common blocks.

Overgiving until we are empty.

Shrinking from visibility or recognition.

Sacrificing under the guise of service.

Believing that to receive is to owe.

All of them are symptoms of deeper conditioning.

The energetic roots of wealth showing up as fear,

Guilt or shame.

Recognising these blocks is not about blame.

It's about seeing clearly where our patterns lie,

So we can begin to choose differently.

These blocks don't appear out of nowhere.

They have roots,

Often going back to childhood,

Family and ancestry.

For many of us,

Money was tied to silence or conflict in our homes.

We may have absorbed unspoken beliefs like,

Even if no one said the words,

The energy was there.

On the mother's side,

Women were often expected to give everything and keep little for themselves.

On the father's side,

Power may have been linked to control or absence.

Both leave marks that shape how safe we feel to receive.

Beyond family,

Cultural and religious codes,

We were taught that humility meant denial,

That service meant sacrifice,

That spiritual people shouldn't want or hold wealth.

These imprints run deep in the nervous system.

And within all of this sits the inner child,

Carrying the fear of being unworthy,

Unsafe or overlooked.

These are the energetic roots of wealth we live out until we see them clearly enough to release or replant.

Healing our relationship with wealth begins with awareness.

Once we see the roots,

We have a choice to keep repeating them or to gently replant.

That replanting is really about alignment,

Bringing our outer relationship with money into harmony with our inner truth.

When financial wealth is aligned with soul wealth,

Money becomes a reflection of who we are,

Not a replacement for it.

This alignment takes shape in small,

Consistent ways.

Creating nervous system safety means noticing that it is possible to receive without fear.

Reparenting the inner child means offering the love and security we once thought depended on sacrifice.

Drawing clear boundaries means letting service be an expression of truth,

Not depletion.

And allowing wealth to stay means trusting that it can belong with us,

Not just pass through.

Gratitude plays a role too,

But not as a bypass.

Gratitude and alignment says,

I can hold this,

I can honour this,

I can let it expand because it reflects what's real in me.

And remember,

None of this has to be done alone.

Support is always available,

Whether through community,

Guides or trusted allies.

Healing wealth is not about carrying more weight by yourself,

But about allowing yourself to be met and held as you walk this path.

When we live in this way,

Wealth stops being distorted power.

It becomes sacred power,

Amplifying our soul's wealth into form.

So,

What happens when we release the conditions about receiving?

When we stop trying to earn,

Hustle or prove?

We simply become magnetic.

We begin to attract not just money,

But opportunities,

Aligned connections,

Support and creative momentum.

Sacred wealth is a partner,

Not a master.

It walks beside you,

Amplifying who you already are.

It is not a prize.

It is not a permission slip.

It is a reflection of your wholeness.

The gift of sacred wealth is that it allows you to build what your soul came here to build.

Not from depletion,

But from overflow.

Not from scarcity,

But from clarity and devotion.

You are here to create legacy,

Not loops of life.

And that legacy begins with how you allow yourself to receive now.

As we close this soul conversation,

I invite you to simply notice what has stirred for you.

Did you hear echoes of your own childhood or family stories in what I shared?

Did a particular block,

Over-giving,

Shrinking,

Confusing service with sacrifice feel familiar?

Or perhaps you felt a glimpse of what alignment with wealth could look like for you.

Remember,

Healing our relationship with wealth isn't something that happens overnight.

It unfolds slowly through awareness,

Through support and through the choices we make each day.

And you don't have to do it alone.

Wealth at its core is about relationship and that includes allowing others to walk beside you,

Whether in friendship,

Community or guidance.

Sacred wealth is not about proving your worth.

It's about remembering that your worth is already here and allowing wealth in all its forms to reflect and amplify that truth.

Thank you for joining me in this second soul conversation.

May what we've explored together ripple gently through your lives in the days ahead.
