A short guided practice of breathing into the lungs and promoting healing and gratitude. This meditation is especially good with the current coronavirus pandemic. If your symptoms are a bit more severe and you are experiencing shortness of breath, you can take it easy on the deep inhales and just focus more on the visualization part.

Welcome,

Beautiful souls.

I would like to invite you to a guided meditation for your lungs.

This is especially good with the current coronavirus.

If you are infected or also if you're not,

To bring awareness to your breath and your lungs.

And just to say thank you to your lungs,

Your body,

Mind and soul.

You might want to get some water or a hot cup of tea to enjoy after this session.

Now let's get comfortable.

Get into a comfortable seated position,

Which I would recommend for people who are infected and have a little bit of trouble breathing,

Or get comfortable laying down on your back.

Now when you're ready,

I would like to start.

Let's start by taking a few deep breaths.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

In through the nose.

And out through the mouth.

A couple more,

In and out.

In and out.

Now when you breathe in,

I want you to first fill up your whole chest and then slowly also into your tummy.

And then breathe out and let it all go,

Everything out.

And breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Now keep on breathing,

Gently.

Be gentle with yourself.

Don't force it.

Don't try too hard.

If you have a little bit of trouble,

Just be gentle.

You don't have to take very deep long breaths,

Just as deep as you can,

Whilst not pressuring it.

I want you to bring your awareness to your chest.

Feel how you are breathing.

In and out.

In and out.

Slowly keep on breathing.

Slowly and meditative,

Inwards.

And when you breathe in,

Imagine your chest and your lungs filling up with light.

Lots of light.

And when you breathe out,

Imagine to let it all go.

And when you breathe in,

Your chest and your lungs are filled with light and lots of love.

So much that it almost bursts and all the light and the love just shines out.

And when you breathe out,

Everything just falls off and goes out of your body.

You are letting it all go.

All the germs and everything that is hurting you,

You let it all go.

You let it all loose.

All goes out of your body.

Imagine that bright light inside of you,

In your chest,

In your lungs.

It shines so bright,

Too bright,

That every negative little germ or bacteria or thing that is hurting you is just pushed out by the light.

So every time when you breathe in,

The light fills with more and more,

The love fills with more and more,

Fills you up inside.

And every time when you breathe out,

You let go.

You let go of everything that is hurting you.

Just let it all go.

Just let it all go.

Out,

Out of your body,

Out of your mind.

Let it loose.

Now go back to your chest.

There is your heart and your lungs,

Who are taking so good care of you.

Be gentle with them.

Love them.

Feel the love inside of you.

The love of your body.

The love you have for your body.

That light shines so bright and warm,

Like a very warm hug.

Now imagine that light spreading all through your body,

Through your throat,

Through your jaws,

And your ears,

And your head,

Your forehead,

All to the top,

And imagine it spreading from your chest to your shoulders,

All through your arms to your fingers,

Your hands,

Your finger tops.

And it goes out,

It shines out.

Now imagine that light and warmth in your chest,

It shines down to your belly,

Your tummy,

Your core,

To your hips,

To your legs,

To your feet,

And out of your toes.

It fills you up with so much strength.

Keep on breathing,

Keep on breathing.

Ask your body what it needs to heal.

Let your body tell you,

Speak to you,

What it needs.

Beware of its gentle,

Subtle gestures.

Maybe you see a color,

Maybe it's just a feeling.

Maybe your body will start to move by itself,

On its own,

Connects to it.

What does it need to heal?

To heal.

And let it come.

Ask your body to heal with love and light.

Let it shine,

Let it feed you.

Bring your awareness to what your body is telling you.

Bring your awareness to what your lungs are telling you.

Your lungs that are so gently placed within your body,

Deep,

Providing your body with air that flows all through.

Every limb,

Every muscle,

To your nerves,

All through your system.

So let that fill you up.

And let's be grateful and thankful for the air we breathe,

That we need to live.

That light that's coursing through your body,

Your system,

That light is the air.

And the air is light,

Shining so bright,

So lovingly,

And so powerful,

Yet so gentle.

It's that light,

If you strength,

It's making you strong to survive.

Strong to breathe inwards and out,

And in and out.

And slowly bring your hands to your chest,

And feel that strength.

Feel the warmth and the love,

The lights,

Making you so strong,

And be able to breathe,

To survive,

And to live,

To just be.

And now slowly,

Whenever you're ready,

You may want to start getting senses back in your body,

Coming back,

Feeling where you are,

Opening your eyes.

Just feel and see.

Just feel that you are strong and capable,

That you are here.

Thank you.
