This is the time out you deserve finding a comfortable position and doing anything you need to do to make yourself more comfortable feeling the weight of your body against the surface that's supporting you arriving this is your time settling noticing the weight of the body and allowing gravity to do its thing allowing gravity to support you to ground you you can let go you can let your legs hang heavy you can let your shoulders gently drop away from your ears you can unclench your jaw and you can slowly,
Slowly invite the knot,
The tightness in the pit of your stomach to soften ever so slightly and when thoughts,
Worries,
Cares,
Concerns,
To-do lists when they pop in and you notice them just gently say to yourself,
I'm taking a little break using the breath as an anchor to stabilize and support you in being here now either noticing the breath at the tummy,
The nose,
The chest or placing a hand on the tummy and feeling the rise and fall you don't need to do anything at all let go allowing the breath to gently rock you as you let go as you let be and when the mind starts running away that magic moment of awareness just saying to yourself,
I'm taking a short break come back later noticing the in and the out the ebb and the flow of the breath and noticing any areas in the body where there's still some physical tightness or tension allowing,
Inviting a relaxation and a peace just in this moment taking off the backpack,
Putting down the bags leaving the worry at the door and allowing yourself the love and the grace to be with yourself and be quiet spending a minute with no guidance an invitation for deep rest sensing now how you feel in yourself and if there are any words you might like to tell yourself any words that might be soothing,
