Transcript

Welcome to this humming breathing practice.

I invite you to find a comfortable position.

Gently close your eyes.

There is no right or wrong here.

Straighten your spine.

Then gently pull your shoulders down and back.

Tuck your chin back towards your spine.

Jaw parallel to the floor.

Now I invite you to come inward with me.

Know that there is nothing left to do but listen to my voice and observe your breath.

Take a moment to notice your breathing.

Is it through your nose or mouth?

Is it shallow or deep?

Is it slow or fast?

Smooth or rough?

Do you tend to push it or hold it?

On your next inhale I invite you to take the deepest breath you have taken all day.

Inhale through your nose,

Filling your abdomen,

Chest and then collar bone.

With control exhale through your nose.

Pull your abdomen towards your spine to get all the air out.

Our breath today is the vibration of a humming bee.

Creating the vibrational patterns found in nature can heal us.

We will inhale with the maximum amount and slowly and with control exhale and hum.

You may go at your own pace.

I will hum to keep you focused.

If you do not have headphones in and for a deeper experience I invite you to use your index finger to gently close your ears.

We will do ten breaths.

Inhale fully.

And exhale.

This is a healing kathara before taking a deep breath Aum.

Inhale.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Aum.

Release the breath.

Feel the vibrations of the humming bee inside your body.

Look inside and notice your thought field.

Notice how you feel.

And now I invite you to bring your awareness back to the physical world.

Bring your attention to your body.

While your body contacts the floor or chair beneath you.

Bring your awareness back to the presence in the room.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

And whenever you are ready,

I invite you to slowly open your eyes.
