Good morning and welcome to this energy purification breathing practice.
I invite you to find a comfortable position.
This practice is best done sitting upright.
Gently close your eyes.
There is no right or wrong here.
Straighten your spine.
Gently pull your shoulders down and back.
Tuck your chin back towards your spine.
Draw a parallel to the floor.
This creates a line for your energy to flow up and down your spine.
Now I invite you to come inward with me.
Know that there is nothing left to do but listen to my voice and observe your breath.
Take a moment to notice your breathing.
Is it through your nose or your mouth?
Is it shallow or deep?
Is it slow or fast?
Smooth or rough?
Do you tend to push it or hold it?
On your next inhale I invite you to take the deepest breath you have taken this morning.
Inhale through your nose,
Filling your abdomen,
Chest and collarbone.
Hold.
And with control exhale through your nose.
Pull your abdomen towards your spine to get all the air out.
On whatever hand works best for you I invite you to take your index and your middle fingers and place them on your eyebrow center.
Gently close your right nostril.
Exhale on your left.
Through your left nostril inhale deeply.
Close your left nostril and exhale through your right nostril.
Pull your abdomen towards your spine to exhale completely.
Breathing into the right.
And out to the left.
Breathing into the left.
And out to the right.
And to the right.
And out to the left.
Breathing into the left.
And out to the right.
And to the right.
Out to the left.
Breathing into the left.
And out to the right.
And to the right.
And out to the left.
Breathing into the left.
And out to the right.
Breathing into the right.
And out to the left.
Now returning to your natural breath.
In through both.
Out through both.
Notice the quality of breath.
Notice your thought field.
Do you notice a hum that is your energy body?
And now I invite you to bring your awareness back to the physical world.
Bring your attention to your body.
Bring your body contacts the floor or the chair beneath you.
Bring your awareness back to your presence in the room.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And whenever you are ready,
I invite you to slowly open your eyes.
