An invitation to listen with care and attention. Listening deeply in this way sheds light on the invisible forces that transpire around, within, and between us - our inner and outer resonance. Following these subtle vibratory threads, we experience our existence as woven together in a boundless tapestry of sound and breath.

Hi there,

I'm Kianne Ademir from Mysore Yoga Paris.

These droplets designed to support you in your practice are a collaboration between myself and sound artist Jotam Agam.

They're best experienced listening with headphones.

Listening is the basis of creativity and culture.

How you listen is how you develop a culture.

How a community of people listen is what creates their culture.

So just see if you can give yourself a seat that feels balanced.

Offering yourself a steady foundation.

I'd just like us to take a moment in gratitude for the ability to practice yoga,

For receiving teachings and having the support of a community.

Just making a common intention to never take any of this for granted.

Having the time,

The means,

The ability to practice,

To receive teachings with the support of a community.

However challenging our life is at times,

This is an enormous fortitude to tap into.

You might just begin by bringing a presence to your breath.

A kind listening attention to your own breath.

Just feeling your body breathing.

Receiving and letting go.

Filling and emptying.

Once you have a felt sense of your body breathing,

You could allow your breath to move into the background of your awareness and become receptive to sound.

Sounds moving through your field of awareness.

Changing.

Dissolving.

Allowing your awareness to find a resting place in sound.

Listening not just with your ears but with your entire body.

Receptive to the field of sound.

We don't grasp or follow any particular sound.

We allow sounds to move through.

If you notice your mind scattering into thought formations or grasping onto sound,

Then don't think that this is not part of meditation.

Every time you notice the mind wandering,

It's an opportunity to strengthen your pathway back to this moment.

Sounds or thoughts are not distractions.

They're simply what's happening.

Sounds come into the field of awareness.

Change.

And dissolve.

Thoughts come into the field of awareness.

Change.

And dissolve.

Take a deep in-breath.

Exhale.

You can bow your head to your heart.

Listening is the basis of creativity and culture.

How you listen is how you develop a culture.

And how a community of people listen is what creates their culture.
