I'm Kianna Ademir from Mysore Yoga Paris.
These droplets designed to support you in your practice are a collaboration between myself and sound artist Jotham Agam.
They're best experienced listening with headphones.
Bring your left hand in front of your heart.
Tapping into the whole left side of your body.
From the sitting bone through the midline,
Left nostril,
Left side of the brain.
Now meet the left with your right.
Both hands in front of your heart.
Take a moment to feel into your right hand and the whole right side of your body.
Right sitting bone,
Right side of your heart,
Right svara,
Right side of your brain.
And feeling into the space where your two hands meet,
Where the left receptive lunar side and the right generative solar side come together at the center of your heart.
Feel the breath through both nostrils.
Inhale through both.
And bring your both hands down,
Rest on each knee.
Feeling into your both sitting bones,
Your left sitting bone and your right,
Knitted together through the perineal body.
Feeling into your foundation,
Your seat,
Your two legs,
Perhaps your shins or your feet in contact with the ground.
Taking our seat on this earth with a sense of dignity,
Graciousness,
Allowing our relationship to the ground to uplift our heart,
Our neck,
Our head,
The midline of your own body linking earth to heaven,
Heaven to earth.
Gently taking our seat and begin by bringing your awareness to the left side of your body.
Whatever is in contact with the ground,
Perhaps your feet,
Your left sitting bone,
Your legs,
Your thighs,
Your awareness traveling up the left side of your spine and into the left side of your heart space,
Your left lung.
Feeling the left side of your head,
Upper palate,
Tongue,
Your left eye,
The left side of your brain,
Feeling into that whole lunar side of your body and feeling how the breath moves through your lunar svara,
Your left nostril.
Now,
Without fully losing contact with the left side of your body,
Gently shift your attention to the right sitting bone,
Your right thigh,
Leg,
Foot,
The right side of your seat,
Continuing up the right side of your spine into the right side of your heart,
Your right lung,
Breathing into the right lung,
Right side of your head,
Mouth,
Tongue and palate,
Your right eye and the right side of your brain,
Feeling into the whole solar side of your body and the breath moving through the solar svara.
Now,
Bring your awareness to the space where these two sides meet,
The dome of your pelvic floor and your diaphragm hovering over it,
The upper palate in your mouth.
Drawing your awareness into the midline,
And into the very center of your heart,
And noticing your breath flowing through both nostrils now,
And let your awareness rest here,
The breath flowing through both nostrils.
If your mind gets lost,
You might notice if the tendency for you this morning is for the mind to scatter into planning,
Thinking,
Wording,
Or if the tendency for your mind has a more lunar quality,
When tipping further over,
It might manifest as spacing out,
Being uninterested,
A little bit dull.
Whether your mind tends towards more activity,
The solar aspect,
Or towards spacing out,
Which is more a lunar quality,
See if you can gently bring and gather your awareness back into the center where these two qualities meet and balance one another.
Gently bringing your awareness back to the breath through both nostrils.
As we're bringing our practice to a close,
You might silently,
In your own way,
Dedicate the merits of your practice,
If you want,
To all beings.
By the merit of this practice,
May suffering be transformed into peace.
May the hearts of all beings be broken open,
And their wisdom and compassion radiate from within.
Offer your both hands up to your heart.
If you like,
You can bow your head to your human heart,
And take a moment to lie down.
