You hello and welcome to this meditation that we'll be doing today.
Thank you very much for being here.
To begin,
If you are sitting up that's great.
It is preferable to be sitting up in meditation in that way many people find it easier to maintain alertness and awareness during meditation.
Otherwise feel free to lie back or lie down if you need to or if you simply want to.
What's really important is to tune into what is best for you and to go with that moment to moment.
So whenever you feel ready if you like you're invited to close your eyes and just begin to watch.
Watch the space in front of your closed eyes and be aware of your breath as it flows in and out.
As you inhale allowing your stomach to expand and then as you exhale gently drawing your stomach in so that all the breath is exhaled.
So now taking if you like a nice deep breath in allowing your stomach to expand and then very gently letting it out exhaling and once again inhaling and exhaling and once again in nice deep smooth easy breath only going as far as you feel comfortable and exhaling and one more time inhaling and out and continuing to breathe in your own time your own pace your own rhythm we can take a few moments now in meditation I will sing a very very simple mantra just a couple of words and those words are Om Shanti.
Shanti simply means peace and Om is that place from where sound emerges where it dwells as long as it is in manifestation and where it returns to afterwards and it just simply brings the vibration of peace and ease if you have any intentions or wishes or prayers thoughts please do feel free to bring them into this meditation and offer them out into the world to send out loving healing vibrations of kindness compassion and peace Om Shanti Om Shanti Om Shanti Om Ominating Om Ominating Ohm Ominating Ohm Ominating Ohm Ominating Ohm Omimating Ohm Om Shat-Dee-Om,

Continuing to be aware of any thoughts which may be there,
And most importantly,
Continuing to very gently remain aware of that One who is awareness itself,
That source of our awareness,
That I,
That presence of being,
Whatever word you may wish to use,
That very heart of our being which is always there and which we have the opportunity to simply be aware of and be with in these moments.
Thank you.

Shadi Om Om Shadi Om Shadi Om Shadi Om Om Shadi Om Om Shadi Om Om Shadi Om Shadi Om Shadi Om Om Shadi Om Shadi Om Shadi,
Shadi Om Shadi,
Shadi Om Shadi Om Shadi Om shaadi'o shaadi'o We can take just a few more moments inside,
Continuing to watch with closed eyes if you wish.
So we can continue now by taking slightly deeper,
Fuller breaths in and out,
Allowing your stomach to expand as you inhale.
And exhaling.
Once again,
Inhaling.
And exhaling,
Drawing your stomach in gently,
Letting your breath go,
Letting it all go.
And once again,
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
And again,
In.
And out,
Let it go,
Let it all go out.
And continuing to breathe in your own time,
Your own pace,
Your own rhythm,
Being aware of what is most comfortable for you,
Honoring that,
Going with that,
Flowing with that,
Continuing to watch any thoughts which may be there.
For those of you who wish to continue with closed eyes,
Please do feel free to do so.
Otherwise,
If you feel ready to open your eyes,
Then you're invited to do so now at this point if you wish.
As you do so,
Please do so slowly,
Gently,
Allowing your eyes to open slowly,
Allowing your eyelids to float up very gently,
Until you come to the point where your eyes are fully open.
