Hey there,
This is Morgan Belknap with Morganic Wellness and this guided meditation is to help you to soften.
So whether you're sitting in a chair or lying on your bed,
Maybe your couch,
Or even perhaps on the floor,
Maybe on a yoga mat,
Let yourself get comfortable and let yourself soften here.
Soften your eyelids,
Soften your cheeks,
Soften your tongue behind your lower teeth,
Soften your temples and your hairline,
Soften the shoulders,
And start to soften the breath.
Letting your arms and your legs relax,
Soften your hands and your feet,
And allow the breath to soften the body.
Letting the breath soften the body like the river softens its banks.
You imagine yourself on this river.
You notice the water is clear and inviting.
You notice the current,
How it's slow and gentle,
How the leaves and the sticks move with ease,
With grace,
Washing downstream without hesitation,
Without any struggle,
How they move around the obstacles,
The trees and the rocks in their path.
You dip your toe in the water and it's warm and gentle and you decide to enter the water.
You lie back and begin to float with the gentle currents,
Washing downstream your worries and your stress.
Roll off your shoulders and wash away down the currents with the leaves and the branches.
You notice the sky above is clear,
The sun is shining,
And you can feel the temperature of the air and the temperature of the water.
As you float downstream,
You notice that you too are moving with ease around the obstacles in your path.
You move with grace,
Without hesitation or struggle,
Just going with the flow,
Completely relaxed.
You decide to climb out towards the banks and lie back to dry off in the warm sun.
The ground beneath you holds you and you bring your awareness to the breath,
Letting the breath soften the ribs and the collarbone,
And soften your hips and your knees,
Soften your ankles and your wrists.
You welcome yourself back to the body and allow yourself to continue the rest of your day a little softer.
