Take a deep breath in and slowly let it out.

Find a comfortable position,

Close your eyes if that feels good,

And allow yourself to settle into this moment.

Take another deep breath in,

Feeling your body soften as you exhale.

Notice the support beneath you,

Holding you,

Grounding you,

Reminding you that you are safe.

Bring your attention to your body,

Noticing any sensations without judgment.

Perhaps there's tension,

Warmth or stillness.

Simply acknowledge what is present.

Remind yourself you are safe here.

Now bring to your mind a moment when you may not have listened to your body's needs.

A time when you ignored your boundaries.

When you allowed yourself to feel unsafe.

Or when you prioritized others' comfort over your own well-being.

Acknowledge this moment with compassion,

Knowing you were doing the best you could at the time with what you knew and felt.

I invite you to repeat the following to your past self.

I forgive you for the times you didn't listen to our boundaries.

I forgive you for the moments you didn't protect our body.

I forgive you for making choices that didn't honor our safety.

You did your best and your best is enough.

We are exactly where we need to be.

You deserve to release the guilt or shame you've been holding on to.

You are worthy of love.

You are worthy of understanding.

And you are worthy of compassion,

Especially from me.

As you say these words,

Imagine the weight of guilt or regret lifting from your body.

Take a few deep breaths in and out.

As you breathe in,

Visualize a warm light shining forgiveness and comfort all over your body.

And,

As you exhale,

Visualize any lingering negative feelings washing away.

Keep breathing.

As you visualize your body glowing in warm light,

Place your hands gently on a part of your body that feels comforting.

Your heart,

Your belly,

Or your arms.

Speak to your body with love and reassurance.

Dear body,

From this moment forward,

I promise to protect you.

I've got you.

You can trust me.

You're safe.

I love and respect you.

You come first.

I will not ignore your signals or push you beyond what feels safe.

I will listen to you when you speak through sensations and emotions.

I will honor your boundaries.

You can trust me to take care of you.

Let these words settle in,

Feeling the warmth and safety they bring.

Visualize a sense of trust and connection growing between you and your body,

Like an unbreakable bond or a light spreading through every part of you.

Take a deep breath in,

Anchoring this sense of love and safety within you.

Say to yourself,

I am committed to honoring my body and its needs.

I deserve to feel safe,

Respected,

And loved.

From this moment forward,

I choose to protect and cherish myself.

Let these words sink deeply into your heart,

Knowing that you have the power to create a safe and loving relationship with yourself.

As we bring this meditation to a close,

Take a moment to thank yourself for showing up,

For being open to forgiveness and reassurance.

Take one last deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Feel a renewed sense of trust and connection with your body.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes and return to the present moment,

Carrying this feeling of love and safety with you.
