Hello and welcome to today's rather chatty meditation where I will talk you through some gentle guidance and mindful awareness to help you reconnect with the inner space of safety and belonging that always lives within you.

So when you're ready take a moment to just settle in wherever you are.

Whether you're seated,

Lying down or simply just taking a pause between moments,

Allow your body to soften.

Feel your feet or your body connecting with the surface that lies beneath you and allow yourself to fully arrive in this space.

Change can feel unsteady.

When life shifts,

New places,

New roles,

New rhythms,

It's completely natural to search for something that's familiar.

But what if that familiarity already lives with inside of you?

What if home isn't actually a place that you go but a feeling you nurture?

Take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale everything out of your mouth,

Letting go of any tension,

Any negative feelings.

Feel your breath as an anchor,

Steady,

Reliable and always returning.

As your breath settles,

Gently ask yourself what helps me feel safe?

What grounds me when things feel uncertain?

Maybe it's a sound,

A memory,

The feeling of your own hand resting over your heart.

Notice how your breath brings you back to that feeling of comfort,

Of belonging,

Of being held.

Even when everything around you is new,

This calm space within you remains the same and you can come back to it again and again.

Sometimes when everything feels uncertain,

Our minds can go racing,

Trying to plan,

Fix or figure it all out.

But often what we need most isn't another plan to put in place,

It's actually a pause.

Just a quiet moment to breathe,

To remember that we've made it through every change before this one,

You've done this before,

You know how to find your footing again.

When you're ready and aligned,

Take another deep breath in and on the exhale silently say to yourself,

I am home within myself.

Let those words echo gently in your mind,

Allow their truth to fully land.

It can be boggling how uncomfortable change can actually feel,

Even when we know it's leading us somewhere better than we've been before.

There's this in-between space where the old has fallen away but the new hasn't fully arrived yet and it can leave us feeling untethered and lost.

But taking this time is about grounding yourself right there in that in-between space and remembering that no matter what is shifting around you,

You can always come home to yourself.

So take another few moments here to just reconnect to that feeling of home within.

As this practice comes to a close,

Notice how your body feels,

Hopefully a little more settled and a little more rooted.

I want you to know that wherever you go,

This sense of home travels within you.

You can return to it anytime you need grounding.

So with me,

Take one final deep breath in through the nose and as you breathe out,

Release fully.

As you sit in these final moments in this space,

More anchored and steady,

Just remind yourself that home isn't always a place or a version of life you used to have,

It's a feeling.

It's that steady rhythm of your breath,

That warmth in your chest,

That quiet knowing that you will be okay.

Change doesn't take any of that away,

It just invites you to find it in new and different ways.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes or lift your gaze and carry this feeling of steadiness into the rest of your day.

Thank you so much for joining me in this space.

I wish you a beautiful rest of the day.

Take care.
