Hello and welcome to this self-love meditation.
Let's start to connect with this practice and space.
Setting the intention for love,
For light.
Allowing the eyes to close.
Settling the micro movements.
Softening and smoothing the face.
Dropping the shoulders and any baggage that you are carrying.
Leaving it all behind now.
Allowing the palms to face upwards or rest on the body.
Getting so comfortable here.
And starting to notice the cool breath as it enters through the nose.
And the warm air as it leaves.
Maybe attaching a color to this breath.
The inhale could be a pink or a red.
A red filled with love,
Passion,
Excitement.
And the exhale could be any negativity.
Could be a darker color,
Gray or black.
Cleansing with every breath out.
Inhaling.
And exhaling,
Letting go of what no longer serves you.
Breathing in.
And breathing out slowly.
Inhaling.
And exhaling,
Release.
And inhaling,
Noticing that the body is filled with that color now.
Pink or red,
Whatever it was.
Exhaling,
Feeling cleansed and cleared.
One more deep breath in.
The deepest breath of your entire day.
And the slowest exhale out.
Release.
Allowing the breath to return to a natural pace and flow that feels good to you.
And starting to think about love.
What does love mean to you?
I'll be quiet for a moment as you reflect.
And now starting to think about self-love.
Love for yourself.
What is a memory or a time that you felt connected,
Dialed in to this love for yourself?
That you truly and fully and deeply loved yourself.
I'll be quiet as you reflect for a moment.
Dropping deeper into this now.
What were you doing?
What was this time in your life like?
Were there practices,
Intentions,
Positive affirmations?
Why did you feel so loved by yourself in this time?
I'll be quiet again as you reflect.
We all associate love with roses,
The most beautiful big blooms.
Wide and expansive,
Never ending in their beauty.
Red and pink,
So beautiful,
So powerful.
Roses are able to grow and expand and be so beautiful in large part because they have thorns.
The thorns of a rose allow them to protect themselves,
To continue to grow.
Even when you think it's the end of its bloom,
It will become even more magnificent,
Even bigger,
Even more beautiful.
And that is because of the boundaries of the thorns.
Of the thorns.
We can think about this as a tool for ourselves,
For self-love.
What thorns,
What boundaries do we need to set in order to support our expansion,
Our beauty,
Our growth,
Our blooming?
Thinking about the boundaries that you can set with self-love today and in this chapter of your life.
I'll be quiet again.
Starting to imagine that you yourself are a beautiful rose.
What color would you be?
How would you smell?
How would you take up space?
How would you continue to surprise everyone by your beauty and your ability to bloom?
Thinking about this for a moment.
Allowing yourself now to position the body with this in mind.
Maybe sitting up a little taller,
Dropping the shoulders once again,
Softening the jaw.
Maybe the lips form a little smile now.
Contentment and knowing.
Feeling this inner rose of potential and power and beauty.
Of potential and power and beauty.
Placing the palms on the heart space now and recognizing the beauty that is you.
The possibility and potential that you have.
The journey of blooming that you are on.
Feeling this in the heart space now.
Connecting with self-love and self-appreciation.
I love myself.
Whispering this within now.
I love myself.
I love myself.
I love myself.
Myself.
Imagine the rose that is you blooming now.
Expanding through the crown of the head.
I love myself.
I love myself.
I love myself.
I love myself.
Allowing this self-love to wrap around you like a protective bubble.
Your thorns.
Your boundaries.
This beautiful loving energy within you.
Not being able to be touched or taken away now.
This is your time to bloom.
This is your moment.
This is your time to shine.
Taking a deep breath in.
And slowly releasing with a sigh.
Feeling this deep well of inner peace,
Love,
And knowing.
When you are ready,
Bringing the palms together in prayer position for our final closing.
May you be well.
May you have the love and light of support around you.
And may you be peaceful and share that peace with the world.
Thank you for this practice.
