Creating a safe space in order to manage day-to-day stress and invite more ease is by managing our inner sanctuary.
Our place of self-love and self-acceptance.
So begin by taking a comfortable seat.
Eyes are closed,
Spine is tall,
Sit bones firmly grounded to the earth.
And arrive.
Taking this moment to connect to yourself and your breath.
And as you connect with your breath,
Begin to imagine a safe sanctuary that lives within you.
Connecting to this sanctuary knowing it is your safe space and always available and accessible to you at any time.
I am safe.
I am protected.
In this safe space there is love of self,
Self-acceptance.
Allow yourself to take up room and land in this space.
Here it's quiet.
Here it's safe.
Here I am protected.
If your attention wanders to the outside world and what it has in store,
Bring yourself back to this safe space fully.
Knowing that here nothing can touch you.
Here it's quiet.
Here it's safe.
Here I am protected.
Spine is tall,
Eyes are soft,
Jaw relaxed and shoulders are melting down to the earth.
In this space I am grounded.
In this space I am quiet.
In this space I am safe.
In this space I am protected.
Taking a big full deep breath in and exhaling releasing the breath out.
Bringing the hands together,
The heart centre bowing with gratitude.
Namaste.
