Turn your attention inward and let your attention stay inward.
We are so used to being outward that there is allegedly no point in turning inward.
The mind might start asking questions like,
How long do I have to be here?
What am I looking at again?
Constantly being outward exhausts us to the point where you don't even realize that there is an option to not get involved in everything that is happening.
So let this time be a trigger,
A reminder that there is an option to leave things alone,
That there is an option to be left alone yourself as well.
That's the beautiful revelation that might happen that when you let things be alone,
Left alone,
Things leave you to yourself as well.
The bridge of botheration is from us to everything else.
And see it for yourself.
That thought,
That sound,
That feeling,
That action,
That email,
That person has a bridge to you.
You have a bridge to them.
The bridge of suffering,
The bridge of botheration.
And there is constant traffic on this bridge.
But let this time reveal to us that it doesn't have to be so all the time.
When we withdraw our attention inward,
Deep inward,
Beyond the thoughts and feelings,
All these bridge traffic goes away.
The bridge itself dissolves.
What our mind has done very sneakily is that even if someone or something is bothering you outside,
That is,
In this world,
You are involved.
And even if that trouble is already done in the past,
In our thoughts we have created another bridge that we keep thinking,
We keep traversing,
Keep getting involved,
Continue draining ourselves energetically,
Emotionally,
And definitely physically.
I am inviting you to be a free floating island onto yourself for a short while.
If boredom or slight discomfort takes you away back onto that bridge,
Recognize this habit and simply come back.
Do not feel helpless in front of your feelings.
Stand your ground when you stand as a free floating island.
Completely withdrawn from everything that is changing,
Unfolding,
Happening.
The being aspect of your human experience shines.
There is no need to even talk to yourself.
In this being-ness,
You are safe.
There is no need for any protection,
Any survival,
Any strategy.
Out there,
It might be a jungle.
In here,
It's a temple.
Allow your mind to relax in this wisdom.
All judgments disappear in this being.
All chitter-chatter disappears.
Nothing is a problem here.
Problems belong outside.
Outside in the world or outside in the thoughts or your feelings.
Deep down,
Deep within,
Inside you,
There is space which cannot be affected,
Which cannot be touched by any problem.
Not as an idea or a concept,
But as an experience.
Recognize it.
Be it.
Find this most intimate place,
Space,
In you.
While everything is changing,
This is not.
Notice that you can't describe this place,
This space.
This for you to describe it,
You will have to come out of it.
This is the most intimate experience that we have.
Doesn't require us to describe it to anyone,
So relinquish this itch to capture this space in any form and merely be it.
Become one with it.
Be it.
And recognize that unlike anything else that we experience,
That is,
We experience everything as something that is happening in front of us.
My words are appearing to you,
In front of you.
The images and thoughts that these words are triggering are happening in front of you.
But this space is not in front of you.
It is you.
Just like you can't see your eyes.
Like you see everything else that is in front of you.
But you know that you have eyes.
You know that you can see.
Just like that,
This space,
This intimacy is a first-person experience.
It is a first-person subjective experience.
Not experienced as a subject-object.
Verify the truth of my words.
Go there.
Not as a thinking exercise,
But as an experience exercise.
This space is yours.
This space is you.
Anytime you want to access it.
You can also choose to operate from it.
Untouched,
Unaffected.
Once you remember that you are this space,
This intimacy inside you,
The bridges stop being a problem.
Thank you.
