Welcome to this meditation of positive affirmations.

So getting comfortable,

Whether that's sitting or lying down,

And gently closing the eyes whenever you're ready.

If you're not comfortable with the eyes closed,

Just gazing softly downward,

Making any adjustments you need to make yourself more comfortable so you can settle here in stillness for the next little while.

Softening the forehead,

Eyes,

Around the eyes,

Softening the cheeks and hooking the jaw,

Allowing the shoulders to melt away from the ears,

Chest soft,

Belly soft,

Arms,

Legs soft,

Body breathing,

Just taking a moment to take a few deep breaths on your own,

In your own time,

In your own way,

Taking a few deep expansive nourishing breaths,

And as you breathe out just letting go of the day,

Letting go of your thoughts,

Inviting the body to soften and to relax,

Nourishing the body in the in-breath,

Just letting it all go,

Letting the day go,

Letting your thoughts go,

Letting the body soften,

And really,

Really arriving in your body,

The air on your skin,

The surface beneath you and touching your body,

Clothing on your skin,

Maybe there's some sounds in the room,

Or just the sound of this recording,

This meditation.

We're going to introduce some positive affirmations and we'll go through a few,

And so once the affirmation is introduced,

Just repeating it over in your mind for a few times and noticing staying connected with your body as you say these words,

And you can also time the words you're doing and the phrases with your breath as well,

Beginning with the following affirmation,

Everything I need is within me,

Everything I need is within me,

Everything I need is within me,

Just repeating those phrases in your mind,

Maybe timing them with the breath if you'd like,

Staying connected with your physical body and how it feels in your body to say these words,

Everything I need is within me,

Everything I need is within me,

Staying with your body,

Feeling in your body how it feels to say these words,

Everything I need is within me,

What is meant for me will find me,

What is meant for me will find me,

What is meant for me will find me,

Repeating those in your mind,

Just over and over again saying them,

Timing it with your breath if that feels good to you,

What is meant for me will find me,

Checking in with your body how it feels now as you say these words,

How does it feel in your physical body,

Say these words,

What is meant for me will find me,

I'm trying my best and that is enough,

I'm trying my best and that is enough,

I'm trying my best and that is enough,

Repeating those,

Maybe timing it with your breath and just saying it over and over again in your mind,

I'm trying my best and that is enough,

Noticing how your body feels as you say them,

I'm trying my best and that is enough,

I am safe,

I am safe,

I am safe,

Saying these new words in your mind a few times over and over again,

I am safe,

I am safe,

Noticing how your body feels as you say them,

I am safe,

I am safe,

I am deserving of love,

I am deserving of love,

I am deserving of love,

Repeating these new words over and over again in your mind,

Timing it with your breath if that feels good,

Staying with your body as you say them,

I am deserving of love,

Noticing how your body feels as you say them,

I am deserving of love,

What is meant for me will find me,

And just letting all the words go,

Coming back to your body,

Whether it's in a chair,

On a bed,

On the floor,

Coming back,

Becoming aware of the contact with the surface in your body,

The air on your skin,

Clothing on your skin,

And the gentle movement as you breathe,

Observing your breath,

Where can you feel your breath,

And feeling free to stay here a little longer if you wish,

Otherwise whenever you're ready,

Gently opening your eyes and in your own time going back to the rest of your day.
