Just allowing yourself to become comfortable wherever you're sitting,

Laying,

Perhaps taking five in the car,

Having just got home,

Finding a moment between the things you have to do,

Maybe moving between different modes,

Different versions of who you have to be,

And allowing this mini meditation to guide you back to you.

So just allowing yourself to become aware of your body,

Whatever's holding it,

Feeling the support beneath you,

Allowing yourself to soften into what's holding you,

Allowing to be held just for a moment to soften into that space,

And bringing your awareness gently to your breath.

This just means bringing your focus,

Awareness,

Your consciousness to your breath.

Like a torch in a dark room,

The torch on the experience of your breath within yourself as it rises,

Falls within you,

Expanding and softening.

Keep bringing your awareness back to this ebb and flow of being to connect you back into this moment.

You to let go of everything that's come before,

Everything that might come to be here,

Supported within the flow of your breath.

I invite you to just allow yourself to settle,

To bring all of yourself back into,

To center,

As if reclaiming all of the energy that you have left in different parts of your day,

Imagining small little tendrils connecting you to previous parts of the day,

And this conversation,

And that activity,

Or that drive,

And just releasing that,

Just allowing your awareness of those things to drop away now as you reclaim your energy,

As if it's magnetizing to you,

Pulling all of that energy back so that energetically you are not as scattered,

Not as displaced.

You give yourself permission to come back to a sense of yourself,

And so just inviting all of yourself back from wherever you've left it during the day,

And allowing yourself to settle back into you,

Just like snowflakes falling and landing on the ground,

Dissolving into you so that you can be here in this moment,

Aware of your whole body,

Aware of your toes,

The soles of your feet,

The top of your feet,

Your ankles,

Your shins,

Your calves,

Your knees,

Your thighs,

Your bottom,

Your belly,

Your ribs,

Your chest,

Collarbones,

Your whole torso,

Up to your shoulders and down,

Your arms,

Your elbows,

Your forearms,

Your wrists,

To each of your fingers and your thumb,

To allow that awareness of self to include your throat,

Your neck of your head,

The top of your head,

Your forehead,

Your eyes,

Your nose,

Your cheek,

Your lips,

Your chin,

Your jaw,

So that you can relax your whole head,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your belly,

Your legs,

All the way down to your toes,

And you can allow yourself to be fully present here with your breath rising and falling.

To be,

This is your,

Must reconnect to you,

To remember what that feels like,

Into your being as a benchmark,

And to invite yourself to keep coming back to this point,

To give yourself permission to,

Every now and again,

Just let it all go,

Let the stillness resume,

Allow yourself to have this moment of peace,

Just breathing easy and deeply,

Feeling the expansion of your chest,

Just reminding yourself that you have everything that you need,

That you're safe,

You're loved,

And take as long as you need here in this,

With you and your breath,

Before allowing yourself a moment or two to transition back into the role that you desire to play for this,

For all those moments where you feel less than,

And to remind you that you always have been,

And you always will be.
