Letting the body settle well.
Allowing Mother Earth to hold your weight.
Resting into her as if you were resting into your own mother's lap.
Feeling a breath flow in just as it liked to.
And feeling that same breath flow out.
Allowing yourself to rest into even the feel and the rhythm of the breath.
Allowing the body to rest silently and quietly.
If we ever need to move,
Notice that sensation is present.
Sometimes it passes.
And if it doesn't,
Move with awareness and come back to your restful,
Silent space for your body.
Feeling our bodies warm and cozy,
Resting on the floor.
Letting our bodies flow with ease and with grace.
Noticing the flow,
The rhythm within us.
Feel the body where it's a little warmer than other places.
Embrace the fire.
Notice the rhythm of the breath.
The quality of the breath just as it is without changing it.
Feel the life blood,
The life giving nourishment of the prana.
And feel the space all around you and all through you.
Bringing our awareness to the top of the head.
Bringing our awareness to the brow center.
Feel a little shimmering energy at the brow center.

Now allow the shimmering energy to flow,
Flow down the left arm.

Allow the space of the fingertips to shimmer and shine.

Vital energy.

Now feel the shimmer shine through the right arm and hand.

Now feel the shimmer and shine move to the throat.
Brows into a light glowing.
Crown of the head.
Feeling the whole body radiant,
Shiny,
Shimmering on the globe.
Light of the soul shining throughout the whole body.
The whole body filled with the light of the soul.
Now rest.
Rest all of the shimmering down into the earth.
Like fairy dust resting into the grass.
Let the whole body rest.

Now feel the air,
The sky,
The sun,
Everything above us.
Shining their blessings down into your body.
Allow those blades of grass filled with pixie dust to grow up towards the sky and the sun.
Feel yourself reaching the smiles and the joy,
The blessings that all of this space has for us.
So much space.
So much to smile at.
Now feel the heaviness,
The stability of the body resting down,
Growing down into the earth again.
Feel her presence below you.
And breathe in and feel father sky and sun above us.
Being willing to stay grounded in the earth and yet grow towards something more.
Now hold them both at the same time,
Grounded and stable and nurtured by the earth.
Smiling and inspired,
Ready to grow towards something more.
Let's start to become aware of our breathing.
Allowing the breath to grow spacious.
Just like the sky.
Begin to count the breath backwards.
Breathing in,
Know you are breathing in.
Breathing out,
Eighteen.
Breathing in,
Know you are breathing in.
Breathing out,
Seventeen.
And so on,
Continuing to become aware of your breath.
If you ever lose track of the numbers,
Do not worry.
Allow yourself to start at eighteen again.
There is no objective of getting to zero with this practice of breath awareness.
Letting go of the breath and the conscious counting of the breath.
And feel your heart instead.
Allow yourself to open the doors to the wisdom of your heart.
Let her wisdom,
Her guidance shine through in any way she chooses.
She may be silent,
Holding space for you.
She may have words or images.
If there are words,
Allow them to become your sankapa,
Your intention.
Something that uplifts and inspires you and helps you move forward into something more.
If there are no words that are coming to you,
That is absolutely okay.

Let's expand our awareness from our hearts to our whole bodies.
Imagine yourself looking down upon yourself and seeing your body's resting here.
So rested,
So comfortable.
And then allow your awareness to expand beyond just your body to the rest of this room.
To see the contents of the room.
To see perhaps the other sisters here in this room with you resting well.
And then begin to become aware of the sound of your own breath.
And listen for the sounds that are beyond your body within these four walls.
And then perhaps expand beyond these four walls with what you can hear beyond.
Allow your experience to reach beyond this room.
And with our bodies and our awareness starting to expand,
Take a deep breath in when you are ready.
And let it go when you are ready.
We can start to add subtle movements to our bodies.
Perhaps pressing the thumb across the fingertips a few times.
Wiggling toes.
Moving the lips or the tongue.
We can feel nice to slowly move the head side to side or take the arms overhead for full body stretch.
Really any movement that feels perfect in this moment is appropriate.
And feel free to stay here in this liminal space on our backs as long as it feels good.
If you would like to roll to your side at any time that can feel nice.
And letting the practice of Nidra soak in.
And if we are still lying and resting,
Beginning the process of coming back up to seat.
We may close this practice of Nidra.
Of the sleep that brings you in.
We'll bring our hands to our heart space.
Taking a deep breath in.
And then letting the fingertips touch the floor down by our sides.
Maybe wiggle through the hips.
Feel the earth below.
Feel that nurturing,
Supportive,
Life-giving energy below us.
Grounded.
Stable.
And then inhaling.
Reach those arms in a big circle up toward a big V,
Up toward the sky.
Stretching ourselves upward.
Lifting through the heart and through the head.
And receiving the blessings of all the space,
All the sky,
The stars,
The sun,
The planets up above us.
Receive from your wisdom and from your guides.
From your angels.
Take a deep breath in to this inspiring energy.
Let the hands come together and pass the third eye,
The lips,
And the heart.
Blessing our thoughts,
Our words,
And our heart space.
Taking a moment to notice just how you feel in this moment.
Receiving any changes that have occurred along the way.
Any shifts.
And knowing that you can take them with you into the rest of your day.
Knowing that just this practice helped to bring more beauty into your world and into our collective world.
