Hello everybody.

It's been a busy day and now we're getting ready to go to sleep.

So try and make yourself as comfortable as you can,

Maybe with your special toy or blanket and wriggle and get yourself nice and comfortable and then we'll be all ready to start.

So we're going to start by taking some nice deep breaths and I know that you've done this before so let's pretend that we can smell our most favorite smell and take a nice breath and then very gently blow it away just nice and gentle.

Let's try that again.

Nice deep breath,

Lovely smell gently blow our breath away.

Well done.

Now this time we'll see if we can remember how we feel our breath in our tummy.

So maybe you'd like to put your favorite toy or your blanket on top of your tummy underneath the covers and maybe just gently pop your hands on top just to hold on to them and keep them safe and then take our nice deep breath in again and blow gently.

What happens to your tummy?

My tummy goes up when I take my deep breath and all the way back down again when I blow back out.

We're going to use our special breathing just now to help us to relax and to calm down and to drift off into a lovely deep sleep until the morning.

So I want you to imagine that every time you breathe out a bubble appears a beautiful soft gentle floating bubble.

It could be any color that you want.

It might be a see-through bubble or it could be your favorite color whatever that color is.

Maybe it's pink or green or red or purple or yellow or orange.

Whatever is your favorite color and as you gently breathe and blow your breath away more bubbles appear just gently floating around sometimes bumping into each other not bursting though just gently floating making you feel nice and calm and relaxed and all ready to go off to sleep and then maybe if you've still got little thoughts or questions or even little worries you could blow them away into a bubble and just let them float about because if you need to you can collect them tomorrow and maybe some of those things you won't need at all and they can just float gently away so let's keep doing our special breathing and noticing all the beautiful bubbles all around us.

Perhaps your bubbles are all the same color maybe they're one or two colors or maybe they're every single color of the rainbow and just notice how they gently float around gently passing each other gently bumping into each other and bouncing away and gradually the bubbles get slower and slower and slower because the bubbles are feeling very sleepy now too and the slower they get the sleepier they get and the sleepier we feel too.

Let's watch carefully again as the bubbles move around even slower slowly slowly drifting slowly slowly falling asleep feeling nice and relaxed just watching those gentle bubbles until gradually they drift away and you drift off to sleep
