Hi everyone,
This is Monta Hidata with Mindful Higher Ed.
I'd like to invite you now just to settle in to a moment of self-love and self-care.
Just settling into your couch or your sofa.
Maybe you're just laying down on your bed or the carpet.
Just finding that position that feels right for you.
Knowing intuitively,
Instinctively what your body needs.
And as you find your posture,
I want to invite you now just to settle in.
Being aware of the sensations around you.
Could be the sensations of your body touching or contacting the surface of your couch or chair.
Maybe you're just feeling the sensations of the fabric of your clothing around your chest,
Around your belly,
Around your legs.
Just dialing into the body and tuning in to the physical sensations around you.
Being hardworking people,
Sometimes we have aches or pains.
If you're noticing any tension or discomfort anywhere in your body,
Let me invite you now just to send that part of your body a gentle hello.
Just sending that part of your body a little bit of loving kindness,
A little bit of warmth,
A little bit of love.
Good,
Good,
Good.
Now if you feel comfortable,
I'd like to invite you now,
If you've not already done so,
To gently close your eyes,
Settle into your posture,
Using your breath as your object of awareness.
Just simply noticing the in breath and noticing the out breath simply as it is.
Gently breathing in,
Gently breathing out.
Just knowing that with each in breath and with each out breath,
You are coming closer to sensing,
To intuiting,
To understanding who you are,
Not just at the physical level,
But at the spiritual level.
Knowing that there is so much more to your mind and body than simply your physical self.
Knowing and realizing you are a source of infinite love.
You are a source of infinite compassion.
You are a source of infinite kindness.
With each in breath and each out breath,
Just tune into that frequency,
Finding your truth with each in breath,
Finding your truth with each out breath.
Just dialing into the breath,
Feeling all your strength,
Feeling all your humanity here to serve you.
You know what's good for you.
You know intuitively what you need to be stronger today.
You know instinctively what's good for you.
And you can always tap into this energy simply by pausing,
Simply by reflecting,
And simply by breathing.
And with that my friends,
I'm going to ring the meditation bell in a moment.
And when I do,
I just want you to know you're perfect as you are.
