When you're ready,
Let's begin to settle down,
Finding a comfortable position to sit or perhaps even lay.
Try keeping the hands and arms away from the body.
This reduces the need to fidget through your meditation.
You can have the palms of your hands facing up to invite in more energy or they can be facing down,
Touching the earth perhaps,
Which promotes a sense of grounding and support.
So just making any last minute adjustments to your position as we begin to invite inner stillness.
So let's start this journey bringing awareness to our breath.
Perhaps deepening the inhale slightly so that you can truly witness yourself breathing.
Breathing in through the nose and feeling the breath begin to move through your body.
Notice its temperature as it arrives in your nostrils,
The coolness as it enters.
Awakening the lungs as the chest expands,
This wave of life is filling you.
This gift,
This gift of your breath.
And as we connect with our breath,
Begin to scan the physical body for any sensations.
Putting aside any judgments and just see,
Know or feel the needs of your physical self right now.
And as we breathe,
Let's set the intention to send the breath to any of these areas in need of this wave of healing prana.
Any and all areas that are holding tension or pain,
Just sensing the breath traveling there.
Any and all areas that just need that extra love at this moment.
Sensing the breath traveling there.
And as you breathe,
The breath moves around the jaw as you part the back teeth allowing this softness to arrive here.
Feel the wave of the breath flow down to the shoulders,
Giving yourself permission to release all judgments up until now,
All self criticism,
Old stories.
Allow that breath to carry this as it cascades down your arms,
Down the arms so that you can let go of all that you've been carrying.
All the things that you are carrying for yourself and perhaps even for others at this time.
Give yourself permission to let these go,
Even if it's just for now,
Just in this moment.
Welcome this wave of your breath to take the weight as you let go.
Feel and be aware of the belly rising as you draw in your inhale,
Filling all your vital organs with this life force energy.
Softening around any tension or pain here in the lower abdomen.
And perhaps you can send the next inhale in and around your womb space,
Your sacred cauldron,
Allowing this energy to awaken with the magic that's stored.
As we release all judgments,
All pain that is held here.
And your next inhale,
Sending this wave of the breath to flood down into your legs,
Out of the root,
Out of the legs,
Out of the feet.
And breathe here my love.
Breathe with this wave of cleansing love from the top of your head all the way down to your toes.
Let's now begin to scan our emotional body.
Once more without any judgments,
Perhaps asking your heart,
How are you feeling?
Staying with our breath in this channel of love entering you with each inhale,
Our heart is expanding.
And as it expands,
It allows in this moment for all and any emotions to be felt.
What needs to be felt right now?
As love enters you with your breath.
What needs to be felt my love?
Allowing ourselves to feel these emotions,
Feeling them without attachment,
Feeling them without judgment.
We can be here together to feel and to heal,
To witness and to let go as we breathe.
Bringing awareness to the release,
The exhale,
The letting go.
Let's slow and extend the exhale.
Slowly lengthening the exhale,
Releasing through the nose or out the mouth.
Just breathing my sweet as the wave of love comes in on the inhale and the sweetness of letting go on the exhale.
Mindfully clearing the throat if you need to and allowing any tears to simply free fall if they arrive as we breathe together.
As we feel what is there without judgment,
Allowing it to melt away.
And if you're experiencing any heavy emotions,
Gifting yourself the sensation of the opposite feeling on the inhale.
Breathing in courage and strength and releasing what needs to be released.
Breathing in self worth and confidence,
Releasing what needs to be released.
Breathing in love and ease,
Releasing what needs to be released.
And continue to breathe here.
Continue to stay with your breath as your heart opens away from any of the walls it's built.
As you feel the waves of love enter from the top of your head and release all the way down your body.
As the waves wash all that needs to be released.
Breathing in the courage and the strength and releasing what needs to be released.
Breathing in self worth and confidence and releasing what needs to be released.
Breathing in love and ease and releasing what needs to be released.
And allow the breath to return to an easy,
Effortless movement.
Aware now of the stillness in and around you.
Finding a peace.
Finding a peace here in this stillness.
And you can remain here in the stillness.
In this unshakable peace for as long as you feel called to.
And when you are ready and feel complete,
Just become aware of the earth beneath you.
Keeping the eyes closed and just noticing how and where your body is connecting to her.
Slowly emerging with the eyes closed by taking in a deeper breath.
And perhaps now you can gently flutter the eyes and then close them back down.
Just fluttering the eyelids and closing them back down as we witness this veil,
This thin veil of darkness and light.
And perhaps drawing the corners of the mouth into the smile.
As we become aware of the gifts that the darkness and the light carry.
Inhale,
Awakening your whole self.
Inhale,
Awakening your whole self and on the exhale opening the eyes and returning.
Returning as your whole self.
Perhaps bringing the palms of your hands to your heart or placing one hand on your heart or one hand on your womb just taking a moment of gratitude here for your breath and for your practice today.
