Let's begin this practice by bringing our attention and awareness to our body,

Away from all the busyness and activity of the day.

Reconnecting in,

Becoming aware of all the sensations that are already here.

The weight of your body,

The warmth and coolness,

The touch of your clothes against your skin.

In this practice we're going to be using our natural breath and some simple words to help settle any busyness and agitation in our mind,

Acknowledge any strong feelings and emotions that are around,

And relax and release some tightness and tension in our body.

Really aware of your body,

Beginning to notice that your body is already breathing.

And on your next natural in-breath,

I'd like you to acknowledge the prevailing thoughts that are already here.

And as you exhale,

Sounding the word peace.

And as you sound the word peace on each out-breath,

Allowing your mind to become still,

As you allow the peace to gently rain down over your body.

So as you inhale,

Collecting thoughts,

And as you breathe out,

Sounding the word peace in settling the mind.

And then on the next natural in-breath,

Acknowledging any strong feelings and emotions that are already here.

And as you exhale,

Sounding the word calm.

And as you sound the word calm,

Allowing any feelings and emotions that you've noticed to gently begin to dissolve and release.

Seeing emotions on your in-breath,

Maybe some anxiety,

A little bit of frustration or some excitement.

And then,

Sounding calm on the out-breath.

Then on the next natural in-breath,

Acknowledging any tightness and tension that's held in your body.

And as you exhale,

Sounding the word relax,

As you let go and release these areas of held tension,

Maybe around your face,

Eyes,

Jaw,

Your neck and shoulders,

Your back and throat,

Belly,

Your arms and legs.

As you sound the word relax on each out-breath.

Then bringing all three together on subsequent out-breaths,

Firstly sounding peace as you settle the mind,

Then calm,

Acknowledging and releasing emotions.

Then relax as you let go and release any held tightness and tension.

Peace,

Calm,

Relax.

Feeling peaceful,

Calm and relaxed.

Peace,

Calm and relaxed.
