Let's begin this practice noticing any unhealthy and unwanted momentum that's around for us by asking what's going on for me now and seeing what arises.

Acknowledging any thoughts and feelings about activities,

Demands,

Needs and expectations of others.

And becoming more aware of how all this momentum manifests in our body,

In tightness and tension or in our posture.

Allowing the feelings and emotions that are around to speak their truth.

Acknowledging feelings that are here and hearing what they're telling you.

Listening with openness and self-compassion.

Bringing care and kindness to yourself.

For all the demands,

Expectations and challenges you take on.

Allowing all the noise and agitation to begin to settle.

Like particles in a snow globe that's placed on a stable surface,

Floating gently down to a point of stillness.

Aware of your body from the soles of your feet to the top of your head down to the tips of your fingers.

Feeling fully embodied,

Open and aware.

Letting go and releasing any tightness and tension that's already here.

Feeling energised and alive.

Knowing that you are not your thoughts or emotions.

And see if you can find a point of stillness within your body,

Like the calm at the centre of a storm.

And making this your home and sanctuary within your body.

Meeting whatever comes your way with peace and stillness.

Acknowledging and acting as skilfully as you can with your experience.

Then returning to the peace and calm.

And as we come to the end of this practice,

Maybe setting the intention to be more aware of the unwanted momentum and noise in your life.

And instead of struggling in the wind and waves,

Resting in a point of stillness and calm within the storm as you skilfully navigate your experience.
