Hello my friend,
Thank you for joining me today and thank you for taking the time to appreciate,
Heal and nourish yourself with this practice as you will then be empowered to help our world around you.
Let's start with a big breath into the belly through the nose and allow anything to be released that is weighing you down.
You are free to relax,
You are safe.
Allow your body to gently shift and melt into whatever position feels comfortable to you.
This is your practice,
This is your time.
There's nowhere to go,
There's nothing to do and there's no one you have to be other than you.
Gently close the eyes and let's tune into our internal energy field and the sensations coming from our body.
Maybe notice the breath as it naturally moves in and out.
Where do you feel the breath the most?
Perhaps in the chest,
The belly,
The shoulders.
Not attempting to change or control the breath,
Simply observing it and bringing gratefulness and bringing gratefulness towards the breath.
That all day and night long the breath in essence breathes itself bringing new energy,
Life and fuel into your body,
Healing you and helping you on your journey.
Bringing gratefulness to the heart for pumping all day and all night long,
Pushing those oxygen cells and nutrients all over your body,
Healing and helping you on your journey.
Bringing gratefulness to the lungs for expanding and contracting the digestive tract,
The liver,
The kidneys and to the body as a whole.
How blessed we are to have these incredible bodies.
Let's take a big deep inhale through the nose to the belly,
Then the chest.
Pause at the top and audible exhale all the way out and again in through the nose to the belly,
Then the chest.
Pause at the top and open mouth exhale.
Deep inhale and full release.
And full release.
Deep in a little bit more,
A little bit more.
Squeeze from the base of the spine to the top of the head.
Relax the shoulders,
The face,
The jaw,
The tongue,
Neck and release.
Allow the breath to return to normal and allowing the body to relax even more than it already is.
Giving every cell permission to relax,
To rest and to heal.
Just for this moment,
There's nothing to do,
Even for the smallest cell in the body other than be here and rest.
Imagining every second that we sit here in stillness,
Becoming stronger,
Becoming lighter,
More vibrant,
Feeling re-energized,
Rejuvenated.
Maybe allowing a slight smile to come across your face and tune back in to the breath as it naturally flows in and flows out.
That same energy that brings the breath in and out and beats your heart is the same energy and star stuff that flaps the wings of the eagle,
That propels the whale,
That makes the rainbow and shines the sun.
It is all one energy and you are part of that.
You are a miracle.
You are valued.
You are cherished and you are needed here.
