With this meditation,
We move into the sacral portal of the Fall Equinox,
Where we are poised at the equilibrium of daylight and darkness,
A time for celebrating balance.
Balance between your inner and outer worlds,
Balance between dark and light,
Balance between the masculine and the feminine.
The symbol of the Fall Equinox is the double spiral,
Illustrating the in-breath and the out-breath.
During this meditation,
We use the breath as a guide for slowing down,
Reflecting on that which has been sown in our lives this past year,
And harvesting the many blessings of life that has unfolded in our experience.
So right now,
Begin to settle your body into a comfortable position and turn your attention toward the light within you by taking a deep,
Nourishing breath.
In through the nose and exhaling fully and completely out through your mouth.
And repeat that again,
Breathing in through your nose slowly and exhaling fully and completely out through your mouth.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
Begin to allow the breath to guide you into your beautiful heart,
Your beautiful heart which is such a sanctuary of love and light within.
Know and feel that this place within your heart right now is completely supported in this moment,
That you are held,
That you are nurtured by your breath and guided in all ways necessary.
As you continue to breathe in and out,
See if you can begin to adopt a sense of allowing,
Of letting go of any tense places within your body.
And as you check in,
See if there are any stressful thoughts that you can set aside for the time being so that you can be fully present and deeply let go right now.
I will begin to play the crystal bowls.
As you begin to hear the sound of the crystal bowls,
Allow that vibration to take you into a deep state of rest and restoration.
Just as the beautiful fall trees and plants begin to surrender their leaves,
Prepare yourself to surrender to this present moment and consider this sound meditation a time of reflection.
Simply letting go and at the same time harvesting the blessings of your life.
