Are you going from one meeting to the next?
Okay,
Let's talk about the space between those meetings.
You know,
Those few minutes,
Sometimes seconds,
Between one obligation ending and the next one beginning.
And so often we spend them frantically checking email,
Or scrolling on our phone,
Or just replaying the last conversation in our head.
But what if,
Instead,
We treated this space as a reset button for our brain?
Let's try it.
Right now,
Imagine that you've just closed one tab in your day.
And before you open the next one,
Just pause.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And just let it ease out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale.
And exhale.
One more time,
A little slower.
In.
And out.
See if you can notice if your shoulders dropped.
Maybe your mind feels a touch clearer.
Your body may be a little more ready for whatever comes next.
See,
These tiny pauses,
They don't just give you a breather.
They stop the mental clutter from one moment spilling into the next.
It's like Deepak Chopra once said,
In the midst of movement and chaos,
Keep stillness inside of you.
A reminder that even two or three mindful breaths can bring clarity before you step into what's next.
So,
Today,
Between the calls and the tasks and the to-dos,
See if you can find the space.
Take breaths.
Let yourself reset.
Thank you so much for joining me.
