Ah,

Mondays.

They always seem to show up early.

Often they're uninvited.

And they always seem to be carrying emails or errands or expectations.

But,

Hidden inside all that noise is a chance.

A beginning,

A new opportunity.

So,

Let's take a moment for that.

That's why we're here,

Right?

Let's take a slow breath in.

And let it out.

Just feeling your body arrive right here,

Right now.

Now,

Can you think of one thing,

Just one thing that you're grateful for on this Monday morning?

Maybe it's a nice warm mug in your hands.

The birds singing outside your window.

Or maybe just a chance to try again.

Really see if you can let that gratitude settle into your breath.

Breathe it in.

Breathe it out.

Monday doesn't have to be something that we push through.

It can be something that we welcome.

As Maya Angelou once said,

This is a wonderful day.

I've never seen this one before.

So,

As you go about your day,

As you go about your week,

See if you can let that be enough.

Here's to a new beginning,

A new reason to breathe,

Start again.
