This is Michelle and today's meditation is going to focus on opening our hearts,

Our vulnerability and just being able to give and receive love.

Come to a comfortable seated position,

Close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Begin to breathe in through your nose,

Out through your nose.

Again in through your nose,

Out through your nose.

Breathing in slowly,

Breathing in evenly.

Start to relax your tongue,

Your jaw,

Your throat.

Bring your awareness to the breath.

Going to deepen the breath,

Inhaling through the nose.

This time exhaling through the mouth.

Again taking a nice deep breath in through the nose,

Exhaling through the mouth.

As you breathe,

Start to pay attention to where you hold your breath.

Maybe it's your belly,

Maybe it's your chest.

Simply noticing,

Observing.

As you breathe,

Start to tune into your body,

Taking a mental scan.

Starting at your feet,

Going up past your knees,

Up over the hips,

Across the chest,

Up past the head,

Noticing if you feel any tension,

Noticing if you feel any lightness.

Starting to send the breath to any area in the body that needs it.

As you continue to breathe,

Start to tune into the vibration of your heart.

Take your hand and place it over your heart.

Feel the steadiness of your heartbeat.

Observe whether it's beating fast or beating slow.

Allow yourself to feel this vulnerable part of you that gives you life,

That gives you love,

That gives you light.

Breathing,

Tuning into your heart.

Starting to deepen your breath,

Feeling your chest rise with every inhale,

Feeling it fall with every exhale,

Simply observing.

As you breathe,

Start to imagine a beautiful pink light surrounding your entire being.

Starting at your feet,

Moving past your hips,

Across your chest,

Up over your head,

Almost as if you were in a cocoon of light.

As you inhale,

See your light expand.

Allow yourself to feel your light.

Allow yourself to expand your light.

As you breathe,

Start to inhale love.

As you exhale,

Breathe out fear,

Holding your hands over your heart.

Exhaling love,

Exhaling fear,

Seeing your light.

As you hold your hands over your heart,

Do any feelings start to come up?

Allow yourself to listen to your heart.

Does your heart feel heavy?

Does your heart feel light?

Is listening without judgment?

Inhaling love,

Exhaling fear,

Seeing your light.

Listen deeply to your heart,

Breathing into the sound of your heartbeat.

Hoping,

Healing,

Breathing,

Feeling.

Exhaling love,

Exhaling fear,

Seeing your light.

As you listen to your heart,

Are you able to open it to joy,

Love,

Happiness,

Compassion?

Listening to your heart,

Allowing yourself to feel a deep sense of peace.

Letting your chest rise,

Feeling your chest fall.

Know that you are love,

Know that you are kindness.

Inhale through the nose,

Exhaling through the mouth.

Slowly starting to come back into the body,

Start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Slowly start to open your eyes.

And as you go about your day,

Offer loving energy to yourself and to others.
