Welcome.

Go ahead and make yourself comfortable in your bed.

Make sure your surroundings are calm and relaxing and quiet.

Lie down comfortably in your bed taking a moment to find your place of stillness.

Once you have settled in gently close your eyes.

Take some deep breaths.

Take some relaxing breaths to calm the body and mind.

Inhaling slowly through the nose and exhaling deeply through the mouth.

Breathing in through the nose and breathing out through the mouth.

Continue to breathe deeply creating a circular breathing pattern.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Begin to really tune into the breath.

With every inhale breathe in the intention of relaxation and with every exhale breathe out stress,

Worry,

Tension,

And any concerning thoughts.

So breathing in comfort,

Soothing and peaceful feelings,

And breathing out anxiety,

Fear,

And all tension.

Continue to breathe this way.

Create a nice and safe space for yourself of relaxation,

Security,

And total peace.

With every exhale allow all negative energies to melt away.

All your negative thoughts and worries just let them go.

And now visualize a warm golden light surrounding your body.

Allow this warm light to create a protective space around you.

Surround yourself with the warming sensation and the relaxing healing light.

And in this warm golden space all of the negative thoughts melt away.

This beautiful golden light is creating a safe relaxing space for you to fall into a deep and restorative sleep.

Continue to breathe slowly in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Holding yourself in the light of this warm space of safety and security.

Allowing the mind to grow drowsy and relaxed.

Continue to release your thoughts and feelings.

Softening your body as you breathe.

Feel your muscles relax.

Softening with your breath.

Releasing all tension away from you right now.

Open the mind to sleep and drowsiness.

Feeling yourself growing more and more sleepy.

Feel the body growing more and more heavy with relaxation.

So just breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Maintaining this heavy warm and peaceful drowsy feeling.

Deeper and deeper into sleepiness.

And as you continue to rest here,

Simply let go of all control of the breath.

Let it be soft and natural.

Listen to these affirmations as you fall asleep.

No need to repeat them.

Just listen to the sound of my voice as you drift into a deep and peaceful sleep.

I am light enough for sleep to carry me.

As I inhale peace,

I exhale release.

All is well and I am supported.

I have done my best today and I am willing to forgive the rest.

I invite peace and serenity into my space.

I am grateful for the lessons today.

I am stronger tomorrow.

I am grateful for my strong and capable body.

I release the day with great ease.

I am ready to receive happiness through my dreams.
