Welcome,

Today's practice will help you understand how to build better habits that will allow you to expand your potential.

May you settle yourself into a nice and comfortable position.

Make sure you're in a quiet place,

Away from any distractions.

Finding a posture that feels both relaxed and alert,

Hands resting on your legs or in your lap,

And gently close your eyes.

Take a couple of deep breaths,

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathing in,

Letting the belly fill with air,

And releasing the breath out slowly and gently.

One last time,

Breathing in,

Feeling the belly expand,

And breathing out,

Feeling the belly contract again.

So just tuning into the physical sensations of the breath,

Allowing the breath to relax you completely,

To ground you into the present moment,

And letting go of anything with each exhale,

Letting go of all that you would like to release right now.

Maintain your awareness of the physical sensations of your breath,

Continue to notice the way your belly and chest rise when you breathe in naturally,

And the way it contracts when you breathe out,

Following the entrance and exit of the air.

And as you continue to observe the breath on every inhale,

Note to yourself,

I am inhaling and following the inhalation from beginning to end.

And when you exhale,

Note to yourself,

I am exhaling and following the exhalation from beginning to end.

Now bring to mind a habit that you would like to welcome into your life.

This habit could be a habit that you've been wanting to work on for a long time,

Or this could be a completely new habit,

And this habit can be related to absolutely anything.

Whether it's to your diet,

Lifestyle,

Physical fitness,

Your focus,

Or your professional life,

Maybe your family life,

Just bring this habit to mind right now.

Think about how your intention for wanting to introduce this habit into your life.

Think about your why.

Think about how this habit would change your life.

Think about how this habit would change your routine,

And what positive effects it will have on you.

See how this habit would allow you to grow as an individual.

What would you learn from this habit?

Take a moment to visualize how this habit could change your life.

Feel it in your body.

And so,

To build the habit,

There are a couple of important elements to consider.

When you want to change your behavior,

Ask yourself,

How can I make this habit obvious?

How can I make it attractive?

How can I make it easy?

How can I make it satisfying?

How can I make it so it feels good in my body?

You can always explore these questions a little deeper when you finish this practice,

Perhaps write in your journal.

It may give you clear answers to guide yourself into making this habit part of your life.

And as this practice comes to an end,

Take one more moment.

Breathe in how this habit makes you feel.

Take a deep breath in again.

Take your time coming back to your surroundings.

Begin to wiggle your fingers,

Stretch your body,

Moving without rushing,

And when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Thank you for practicing today.

May your positive habits lead to a life of health,

Wealth,

And happiness.
