The subconscious and unconscious may feel similar, but they play very different roles in how we experience our lives. Your subconscious holds every memory, emotion, and impression from this lifetime. The unconscious, however, is far more vast. It carries the wisdom, wounds, and experiences from every lifetime you’ve ever lived, as well as the energies you’ve repressed and forgotten. When you set a clear intention, what’s buried in the unconscious can rise into the subconscious, allowing you to finally heal it. Understanding this difference gives you the power to transform not just your personal reality, but the energetic world we all share.

Oh,

Sophie says,

What's the difference between the subconscious and the unconscious?

Very good question.

The higher consciousness is everything.

It's the all that is.

It's your connection with life.

It is the connection with the divine,

Is that oneness that you know that you're a part of life.

The unconscious mind contains all of the memories from every previous lifetime.

It has the awareness of every lifetime.

It's in the unconscious.

And the unconscious mind is that which you don't know about consciously until you choose to move in that direction.

And when you make an intention to understand the unconscious mind,

It will then bring from the unconscious into the subconscious.

So your subconscious mind is only focused and only has the memories of this lifetime.

Every thought,

Every feeling,

Every meal you've eaten,

Every restaurant you've gone to,

Every license plate that you've seen on a car ahead of you while driving is contained in the subconscious mind.

But it's only contained in this lifetime where the unconscious mind has all of the lifetimes.

But when you have a memory or you work in hypnosis that can go into the unconscious and retrieve some of that information through the unconscious into the subconscious so that you can become conscious of it and heal and change it,

That changes in the unconscious.

Hear this.

When you change in your unconscious mind,

It changes every lifetime you've ever had,

Not just this one.

It goes into the collective unconscious.

I've used this example before.

People talk about the war and the anger and the greed and all this stuff going on in the world.

That's part of the collective unconscious that you are a part of.

And when you take your anger and your hurt and your guilt and your pain and you shove it down and it goes into the unconscious,

It then goes up into the collective unconscious as the way of the world.

So how do I help heal the world?

Deal with your repressed energy that you've shoved down into your subconscious unconscious mind because that's feeding what's going on in the world.

And when you can retrieve and heal that,

There's less of it in the collective out there.

So your unconscious mind is so much more vast.

It has the memory and the recollection and the experiences of every lifetime.

And you can go in and discover other lifetimes,

But it has to then become subconscious in order for your conscious mind to understand it.

But with the intention and the desire,

Your higher conscious mind can help you and you can resolve.

So the unconscious mind is different than the subconscious mind.

But what you want to do is begin working with your subconscious mind because they bleed together between your subconscious and unconscious mind,

Those energies of your anger and your hurt or your guilt.

And I find this often with my clients when I'm working one-on-one,

They'll say,

Oh no,

I have no anger.

I never feel angry.

You're human.

You live in a world.

That's weird not to feel angry from time to time,

But people have got it so repressed it's gone into their unconscious where they honestly say they don't feel it.

It doesn't mean it's not there because the reality's showing it,

It's there.

But when they can resolve it and they can heal it in their mind,

The reality changes,

Not only in this lifetime,

But also in every lifetime you've ever had,

There's less anger.

And all those lifetimes,

I know this is hard to wrap your mind around,

Are happening concurrently.

They're not past.

They're not future.

They're now in time and space.

And that's another whole discussion,

Very advanced.

But some of you have heard that and hopefully it makes a little bit of sense to you.

So I hope that answered your question between the subconscious and unconscious.

And that's just a very small part of its differences.
