Welcome into this time where you can settle into a relaxing space and you'll be able to release your stress and your anxiety and feel soothed and balanced.
So get comfortable.
However that feels appropriate for you at this time,
Whether you're seated or laying down just as long as you are comfortable.
Let's begin with closing your eyes and take a nice deep breath in and let it out.
And another deep breath in and out.
And one more nice deep breath in and out.
And continue to follow this consistent breathing pattern for this offers you the opportunity to settle in,
Letting go and releasing.
Inhaling and exhaling.
And notice your feet on the ground with an awareness of the space that you occupy as you gently scan up your body from the tips of your toes,
Up through your legs,
Into your seat,
Up into your torso.
And if you notice any sensations or feelings of any kind,
Just objectively have an awareness of them while also detaching from them.
You can let them go,
Releasing them into the air around you as you come back to your breath.
Continuing to scan up through your back and chest,
Down through your arms and into your hands where you release anything else that needs to be released out your fingers,
Letting it all go,
Continuing to breathe and feel into your throat,
Clearing it and releasing any energy there that needs to go.
Using your jaw and your mouth,
Feeling a peacefulness take over your entire face and head.
And notice the big wide open space behind your eyes.
And if there are any thoughts or feelings there that are distracting you,
That's okay.
Just let them go and see them float away,
For you can always rely on your breath to guide you and to lead you into this releasing state as you become more relaxed and calm,
Scanning up to the top of your head where any remaining energy that no longer serves you dissipates high above and in all directions.
Your entire body is in a peaceful rhythm and consistent pattern with your breath.
With each inhale and exhale you are releasing anything and everything,
All of it's going away,
Letting go.
And a feeling of freedom begins to fill you up,
Feeling so free from your feet,
Through your legs,
Your torso,
Your center and core,
The tips of your fingers,
Feeling freedom and release all the way up through your arms,
Your chest and back.
Your shoulders are so easy,
Your throat so clear,
Your head so calm,
And your mind is an experience of stillness that extends to the top of your head.
So much clarity,
So much release,
This new centered experience of relaxation feels so good and exhilarating while at the same time you are so calm for each breath guides you and leads you into your center and creating a solid foundation to help you hold this centeredness and to maintain your calm.
So whenever something comes up you will be able to process it,
Allow it,
Release it and come back to your center and breathe.
Feeling so relaxed and so released,
You are back to yourself and ready to move forward.
So begin to gently feel your body in the space that you're in and your current experience begin to gently move as you need,
As you continue to breathe,
Slowly coming back ready and able as we take one more nice big deep breath in and out and when you're ready gently open your eyes and come back to your space.
