Welcome,
Welcome,
Welcome my dear friend to this closely whispered meditation that hopefully will let you experience the real,
True and beautiful inner being.
Settle in,
No matter if you are laying down or sitting up,
There is always a part of your body that you can send the focus of your breath towards.
Breathe into that part of your body that you think might need just an extra release,
A little bit more to almost melt into the space to allow you to relax.
I trust you to guide your own breaths as you wish,
Slower or faster through your nose or through your mouth.
Inhale and exhale at your own pace and when you do so,
Try to notice which part of your body might feel heavier,
Which part of your body feels lighter,
Almost as if it is a little bit softer,
Less dense.
Don't try to do anything about it,
Just breathe.
Maybe you can even notice which one of your nostrils or maybe even lungs takes in more air,
Which one fills your body with more oxygen and again,
Notice but don't do anything about it.
Right now we are releasing the doing part of our brain and inhaling into the observant natural state of our mind.
Feel the space around you,
How can you know that you are here in this space?
Is it the sensation in your body that gives away where you are exactly?
Is it the contact that you might have with your clothes or the surface that you are sat or laid on top?
Is it the noise,
Maybe even the sound of my voice,
Maybe the sound of your breathing?
Maybe the internal sounds that your body makes?
Find that anchor and indicator that you are indeed here and now in this space,
In this body and with each breath you state to the world and to yourself,
I am here,
I am alive and I am grateful for this gift of time which I can dedicate to myself.
And through loving myself and caring for myself,
I open within me love and care for others and for the world.
I invite you to notice the space around you.
If you haven't by now,
Gently close your eyes,
Dive deeper into your other senses,
Your smell,
Breathe in,
Feel the temperature of the air that you are breathing in,
The air tickling your nostrils just lightly,
Feel any even the faintest smells or memories of smells that might come to you,
Feel them and let them go.
For now,
Turn your attention to your eyes now that they are closed,
Relaxing from the world,
This visual world,
Looking deeper into themselves.
Even though they are closed,
They continue seeing,
They continue bringing the memories of what have you chosen to notice today,
Of what have you chosen to see.
Notice and let it go,
Let yourself melt into the darkness,
Listen closely,
Try to breathe as quiet as you can,
So if somebody was beside you,
They wouldn't even know that you are here.
I will give you a little pause to try and listen to the sounds of your own body.
Feel,
Because I know you have it within you,
To feel and to feel fully,
To breathe,
To inhale love and gratefulness for this moment of stillness,
For this time of dedication to your self growth and to the world,
World of connection and freedom and giving.
Whatever state you find yourself in,
Whatever comes to the surface,
Whatever thought was racing and racing,
Continue to exercise your mind,
Let it float and let it be.
Pick out a moment within yourself that you feel carries your inner strength,
Maybe it's a conscious breath that you took,
Maybe it's the way you sensed your body today,
Maybe it's the way you felt the space around you,
Wherever it is,
Breathe through this,
This feeling,
This sensation,
This knowledge that you too have a teacher and that teacher is within you.
And as it goes with the best students,
The only way to learn from your teacher is to listen closely and with an open heart,
If you can allow yourself to do just that,
If you can allow yourself to feel that you indeed can do that,
The whole world of calmness,
Of sincerity,
Of honesty,
Of beauty,
Of love,
Of pleasure,
Of peace will come upon you.
Today I thank you for joining me and in some way for being a teacher for me too.
I hope that you will stay for a little bit longer to breathe through whatever you found within yourself and to go on living being the truest and the most genuine version of yourself.
And breathe a little bit more and thank the space that you are in and extend this grace to anybody who comes to mind.
I thank you.
Thank you.
