You can say these affirmations along with me either in your mind or out loud.
Whatever feels right to you.
Wherever you are at this moment,
Begin to slow down and get comfortable as you shift your awareness to your breath.
We begin with three conscious inhales and exhales as you feel the presence of your own being with you right here,
Right now.
I show up for myself.
I trust myself.
I have me and I always will.
I do not allow fear to stop me.
Fear may arise,
But as I face it with determination,
Its potency melts away.
I do not and will not abandon myself.
I stay with myself.
I stay in my body,
Grounded and present.
Everything flows from here.
When I feel myself wandering,
I draw my awareness back to my body.
Back to the comfort of my own presence.
I am building healthy boundaries.
Good boundaries are key to feeling safe,
Feeling whole.
I honor and respect myself by enforcing these boundaries.
I forgive myself for allowing others to cross over my boundaries.
I understand making mistakes is part of my growth process.
When I forget a boundary or am not strong enough to enforce one,
I am kind and patient with myself.
I do better next time.
I understand I won't always be perfect.
I understand I am human.
I don't give up.
I come back to myself and tend to my needs.
I remind myself to awaken my voice and speak up for myself.
Little by little,
My voice becomes stronger.
I become stronger.
My voice is heard.
It is heard by others,
But most importantly,
It is heard by me.
I watch over myself.
I protect myself.
With every small step and victory,
The belief in my ability to take care of me grows fuller and greater.
I allow myself to celebrate each victory in enforcing my boundaries.
I acknowledge my efforts,
And in doing so,
I value myself.
When I deeply value myself,
Others mirror me and value me.
Each bit of effort adds up,
And like an exercise muscle growing stronger each day,
Placing boundaries becomes easier.
Soon,
Asserting myself,
Speaking up for myself,
And placing down boundaries becomes as intuitive and natural as it is for me to feel for others,
See others,
And help others.
I begin to do for myself what I do for others.
I turn my awareness inward and breathe life into myself.
I am worthy of investing in myself.
I am worthy and deserving of my own light,
Of my own energy,
Of my own love.
I am learning to give of myself to myself.
I am learning to protect myself and feel deserving of doing so.
Instead of automatically saying yes to others,
I stop myself,
Even if just for a moment,
And I ask myself,
Do I want this?
I give myself permission to say no.
I respect myself to always present myself with the option of saying no.
I acknowledge in myself that it might be difficult to do so.
I understand that it begins with slowing down,
With taking an intentional pause.
It starts with the questions,
Do I want this?
Is this good for me?
Does this align with the best version of me?
Even if I don't always know the answer or get the answer wrong,
Asking myself these questions to begin with is treating myself with the dignity I deserve.
I acknowledge my own value.
I breathe peace into myself.
I appreciate myself.
I am thankful to be the person I am.
I am thankful for this time to connect to myself,
To stay true to myself,
To explore and to learn my inner self.
I breathe in joy and I breathe in peace.
I breathe in gratitude and I breathe in hope.
I have me.
Everything whole and good flows from here.
I stay in my higher awareness.
I stay in it by connecting and reconnecting to my higher self in this world and the world that is me.
I allow myself to connect through my breath and through my body.
I deserve the best of me.
I deserve to be around that which brings out the best in me.
I am enough.
Enough to just be.
It's okay to rest.
It's okay to just be.
From this place of rest,
I learn to listen inside and trust my intuition.
Trust my intuition to guide me in making good decisions.
To discern what is and is not in alignment with my highest self.
I believe in me.
I show up for myself.
I show up for myself by understanding that it is not my responsibility to carry others.
It is my responsibility to carry myself and only myself.
And from that place,
I inspire others to carry themselves.
Everyone outside of me is responsible for themselves.
It is their job to take care of themselves.
I trust in the process.
I do my part and let go.
I trust that when I stay focused on nurturing myself,
All the pieces will fall into place.
That I will live securely,
Freely,
And fulfilled.
I make the promise to myself that I will continue to treat myself with love,
Care,
Compassion,
And dignity.
I make the promise to myself that I will be kind and patient with myself every step of the way.
I keep reminding myself that my energy is precious and I get to choose who I give it to.
I remind myself that I deserve this precious energy most.
I devote myself to instilling this awareness within me every day.
And I know that filling my own cup is the only true path to redemption,
To being my best and brightest self.
I know deep in my heart that when I fill my own cup,
It can then overflow to the right places,
The right people,
And in the right way.
I make the commitment to myself to stay on this path no matter how many times I fall off course.
I know that I will always come back to myself,
Stronger and freer,
With more love,
Confidence,
Wisdom,
And awareness.
