This guided meditation invites you to soften, settle, and return to the spacious awareness that has always been here. Amidst the noise of thought and the swirl of uncertainty, we gently reconnect with the open, transparent nature of being—free, vast, and untouched. This is not about escaping the world, but about remembering the quiet refuge within it. Music by Shakib Hasan

This meditation is an invitation to come home,

To remember who you truly are.

We'll use space as our guide,

Gently shifting how you see yourself and the world around you.

So,

Just relax and let the meditation carry you to what it is you wish to know.

So,

Let's begin in a comfortable seated position.

Gently close your eyes.

Relax your shoulders.

Soften your face and let your hands rest naturally and bring your attention to your breath,

Feeling the spaciousness of each breath,

A gentle sense of opening on each inhale,

With each breath inviting a sense of calm,

Of peace,

Of surrender.

When we enter a new space,

We almost never acknowledge the space itself,

Instead taking all of our attention to the things,

The objects,

Ignoring the space itself,

The space that gives room for all things to arise.

Become aware of all the space in the room you're in.

Space in front of you.

Space behind you.

Above you.

Infinite space all around you.

Sense it.

Feel it.

And now become aware of the space within your body.

Feel the space in your head,

Your torso,

Your arms and hands.

Your legs and feet.

Feel the spaciousness of every cell in your being.

Right down to every atom.

Each atom a field of energy made up almost entirely of space.

Feel the vibration of your energy in space.

Feel the vibration of your breath moving in space.

Space above you,

And flowing through every part of you.

Can you even find a border of where you end and space begins?

Too often we see ourselves and the world around us as so very solid and fixed,

So rigid,

And with this view,

We carry the weight of the world on our shoulders,

Our thoughts and worries so heavy,

But this seeming solidity is merely a trick of the mind.

There is nothing substantial here.

Nothing solid.

You are not a thing,

But you are not nothing either.

You are not separate from anything.

You are infinitely connected to everything through space.

As you hear the sound of my voice,

Notice it arises in space and dissolves back into space.

This dance of sensations appearing and disappearing in space.

There is nothing to hold onto,

Nothing to push away.

You are as spacious and serene as the sky that gives space to everything and yet clings to nothing.

You are whole because there is nothing that separates you.

You are complete because nothing was ever missing.

You are infinite.

You are home,

Not a place.

Rest in this spacious awareness,

In the quiet knowing of it all.

As we come to the end of the meditation,

Let this awareness of space move with you into your day.

When you enter a room or step outside,

Let your attention rest more on the space than the things in it.

Notice the quiet space between your thoughts,

The space in conversations,

The space in your breath.

Let space shift your perspective,

Loosen your grip,

And return you to the natural rhythm of life.

Namaste.
